It was wife's birthday and she had never been. It's been over 20 years for me so I decided to take her. The reservation process, simple. The ambience, relaxing, dark and cozy. The service was wonderful, we were tended to with a smile and preifessionalism. We started with drinks of course. My wife requested her own concoction, Disaronno sour, she loved it and ordered another. I had a Manhattan. That drink was stiff, I couldn't finish it. We started with a crab cake. The flavor wa good but it seems like it was just plopped on the plate. Didn't have much crust to form like you would expect, more like a mashed potato cake. Like I said it tasted good but there was no crisp to the form. Next we had our salad. We both ordered the 3 Fork Salad. Honestly, for me, that was the highlight of the meal. Man it's so good. Kudos to that!Wife ordered a sirloin steak with lobster tail over 3 asparagus spears. She said it was very flavorful but don't be so skimpy on the vegetable. It had a side of fully loaded mashed potatoes, very good.I ordered a bone-in steak(don't remember what kind) that came over mashed potato. Good flavor but... Kinda small. We also ordered a side of Makers Mark flamed mushrooms. Tasty. For dessert we had creme brulee. Honestly, not impressed, definitely had better. All in all, we enjoyed our food, nothing was bad but I probably won't comeback for the prices. Good food? Yes. Good value... Not even close. I didn't mind because it was my wife's birthday and she deserves it but even she said it wa good but not worth the money. Again, for a special occasion or just for the experience it is OK but she is just as happy going to a local Steakhouse chain.

My wife and I were there to celebrate our anniversary, and we could not have been happier with our experience. The food was delicious, and our server, Madeline, was delightful and very helpful with her recommendations. A wonderful evening that we thoroughly enjoyed. It was our first visit, but we will definitely be back.

Silver Fox is my wife's favorite restaurant so on her birthday and our anniversary we usually dine at Silver Fox. All of the staff, that we have encountered at Silver Fox, have been very friendly and professional.

We've been to several nice steak houses in the DFW area. This one is by far our favorite. The ambiance alone is amazing and what you expect for a nice restaurant. Not too loud. Not too quiet. Not too light and not too dark. The server was very attentive, the food was amazing and the entire experience was 5 stars! Get the scallops as an appetizer.
We had theater tickets and the service time was not managed well. My Steak was not cooked as ordered. Received potatoes instead of Mac n cheese. Waiter deducted from bill. Others had fish and pork. Their food was delicious.

First time to have dinner here and very impressive from the ambiance , the presentation from the drinks to the foods ( I ordered love poison and crab cakes ) . Magic Mike was our waiter today and he nailed it with suggestion of sweet drink which is the love poison , Thank you Mike for the amazing services . I saw the reviews of the crab cakes so I had to give it a try and It was very delicious and the portion was huge . Absolutely We will come back and will ask Magic Mike for when we come back .
We had a great experience. It was a work dinner for 11. Granted, it was a week night, but we could all hear one another and interact. The food was amazing with several unique touches that really made it a great evening.

Despite the fact that my husband decided at the last minute here, we unfortunately found out that you must have a reservation, but that, of course, did not stop them from trying their best to accommodate us. despite choosing to sit near the bar, Ken is an exceptional server! he had us laughing each time he came to our table. ? the choices of selection in our meal, limited, but an amazing choice option, overall it was unbelievably a marvelously choice of mixed wiskey cocktail i have had in some time ? very yummy the best I've had in over 18 years!! excellent choice of whiskey my friend bravo. our waiter Ken made that nights choice of restaurant a remarkable one. we will definitely be coming back again! and most certainly will be recommending to our family and friends. ❤️

Ok, sounds weird.... I give 4* but 5 for all the categories? (Food, service and atmosphere?). Yes. In a place like this needs a fourth category: "wine and spirits" which would have been rated a 2.5. OK, so shame on me for taking almost 20 years to dine here because I have lived in FW almost 20 years and this is my first time to dine here. Atmosphere is dark, private. Steakhouse-y for sure. Apps included a medley of fried Maker's Mushrooms, a Crab Cake (which I am hard to please hear but it was the perfect combination of crab and breading), calamari, onion rings and beef croustade. All delicious. Salad with a sweet maple vinaigrette, also absolutely delicious. 8oz baseball cut filet was the main course - I am hard to get my steak right I will admit. We used to dine out at all the steakhouses before our daughter was born but have been less frequent since ..... So I know a good steal when I taste it, and I'm picky. I like my steak seared, charred, rare with a cold red center. They nailed it. Best steak I've had in 10 years... You can taste the steak, the aging, the seasoning, sear, char.... Getting hungry just thinking about it. The creamed corn, mashed potatoes and veggies were perfect temp and very flavorful. Dessert was cheesecake. Light on the palate yet dense im flavor, rivals Del Frisco's before Fertitta destroyed it. But c'mon guys. Get the wine list up to speed. I had two El Chingon on tap and it went very well with everything so, ??! The wine list is a glorified Constellation wine list with a few sprinkles of hope here and there. If they allowed BYOB I'd gladly pay a corkage. Overall this experience was awesome and way better than I was expecting (not sure what I was expecting to be honest). We will be back!
