Everything was AMAZING our server was so sweet. We only waited maybe 15 mins for service and food. We have ZERO complaints and will be back asap! Crabcakes & fries & Pick 2 fish and shrimp! Ended with a bananna pudding but we ate it so fast we couldn’t get a good pic?

I am a travel nurse and stay in the area often, I have been here several times and never disappointed. TODAY, my husband and I were on our way from Denver, where I was working, and I wanted him to taste this Goodness (or did I really want it? Hmmmh) ... but he thoroughly enjoyed it!!

I just recently moved to Fort Worth a few months ago and I’ve been coming here, every time I see Erin and Alex and they make my night! They’re great to be around, call me by name and know what I’ll order each time and I don’t even have to ask.I’m not sure if I keep coming back because of the atmosphere or them but I’m pretty sure it’s because of them!

The food was delicious. I ordered salmon with crawfish etouffee. My husband had Maui with lemon sauce vegetables. We both agreed we had the best meals we had in a long time. We even splurged to try the bread pudding, which was wonderful.

We went to Tricky Fish Sunday and had a wonderful meal! The crab cakes needed just a little more crust on them but the slaw was delicious. W each had the Tricky Fish entree with different fish. My mahi was wonderfully moist and the crawfish etouffee was delightful. I don't remember our waitress' name (she has beautiful red hair and I believe she is the bartender as well) but she was efficient and very pleasant.

Rarely do I start a review while I'm still eating but I need you'll to get to Ft Worth ASAP and come try these blue cheese chips.... Of course I'm a lover of blue cheese over ranch and that's probably impacted my appetite. They have a happy hour that starts at 2pm so I'm enjoying a very good $5 margaritas ( a different drink each day of the week) there's also appetizers and other drinks on the happy menu . We also tried shrimp tacos, chicken Caesar salad and shrimp and crab bisque. Everything is very flavorful and they use their seasoning down packed. Since I'm a lightweight when it comes to spice, it was very good just to spicy for my palate. The bisque was a bit too sweet for me ( I will always order bisque if it's on the menu, love the ones that are rich and creamy) mentioned the sweetness to our waiter ( not in a complaining fashion) just expressing my thoughts. In return Taylor the manager came to our table and immediately offered to take care of it and suggested a substitute. I also appreciate staff that communicate concerns and management that engage with customers. My stomach is always bigger when I order and somewhere along the way it starts to shrink, so needless to say ...I'm freakin full

I don't go to Tricky Fish to often but when I do I eat to much. The food is absolutely delicious. Had the blackened salmon with dirty rice an crawl fish and their baked okra. For appetitizer had the eat and peel shrimp. It was delicious. The service was friendly and helpful.

Good and amazing place. Good and delicious food. The place has television. You can watch futebol or soccer players while you eating. The people are so friendly and nice. And you can choose where you wanna sitting down. Inside or outside. You can eat there or you can have to go. I recommend for everyone the place. They have differents foods for all tastes

Such a neat little place, not too fancy, not too casual. Delicious food. Friendly staff who work as a team to make sure guests are well taken care of. My hubby had the fried platter with shrimp and catfish. He got coleslaw and opted to get mac-n-cheese instead of fries. I got the tilapia tricky fish. I opted for grilled, but would probably go for blackened next time. The Crawfish ettouffe with dirty rice was delicious as were the grilled vegetables. Oh and by all means, start with the fried green tomatoes. Absolutely incredible!!

Stopped in tonight with my wife as we were wanting some seafood...our server was Kyle. We started off with the crab cakes, I had the fried platter (catfish & shrimp with fries and slaw), my better half had the fish sandwich with mac n' cheese, also ordered a couple of drinks from the bar. The food was awesome, great flavor, Kyle was spot on and on his game as a server, very friendly, the bar service was a little slow, but the restaurant was busy. Overall, a good experience, and we'll be back.

I come here for the hh specials and $5 margs on Tuesdays! You can't beat $1 oysters y'all! I also really like the Thai wings and fried platter. I do wish the margaritas were a bit stronger but they still taste good. Kyle was our server and he was very kind and attentive. Will definitely return!

This place is outstanding! We usually hit up Waters or Eddie V’s for our FTW seafood dining. At a friend’s recommendation, we decided to check this place out. Not as fancy as the places I mentioned, but the food was just as delicious, if not more), half the price and the service was amazing. Erin waited on us and was so informative, warm and attentive. She made us incredible cocktails and guided us to some delicious choices. Everything tasted from scratch and fresh. We will be back…and SOON!

We headed south today at 2:00pm as J&J Oyster Bar in town up in FTW was closed due to plumbing repairs. We were hunting Gulf oysters as we in hand our homemade fav Magnolia Bluff mignonette from Chef Irv Miller at Jackson's in Pensacola. Tricky had 'em, but today they were meh. This is not Tricky's fault. They were apparently harvested from a Gulf coast location (I did not ask where) that has had a lot of rain and recent influx of fresh water as they were totally void of any salty typical Gulf coast oyster flavor. We followed with the FGT and blackened shrimp Happy Hour app at just $7 for five perfectly fried FGT rounds topped with their remoulade and a small blackened shrimp or two. Very, very good. The remoulade is lightly and very nicely done here. Following this, being old timers with small appetites knowing we wanted some take home for another meal we ordered a dozen peel and eat shrimp each. Here is where Tricky Fish super excelled. Not only were the large shrimp wonderfully and perfectly Cajun spiced, but get this... they were NOT overcooked. The shrimp were cooked to absolute tender perfection. These cats back in the kitchen know what they are doing when it comes to the Gulf shrimp. A+. I thought it odd that the cold shrimp platter included tarter sauce along with the very nicely prepared cocktail sauce. Well, this is not tarter sauce. It is their remoulade and it is lovely with the cold shrimp. WTG kitchen! It's a haul from NRH to down here. But it's a trip we're gonna frequently look forward to.
