We went here because my granddaughter was celebrating her 21st birthday and wanted to experience a mimosa brunch. We were all pleased with the experience. Our waiter was excellent. He took it upon himself to bring my granddaughter a slice of birthday cake. Such a nice surprise. She was thrilled. My only complaint is that my eggs were very salty. Otherwise, I would rate it an all 5 star event.

We were seated in a nice area & Joshua, our waiter, appeared a few minutes after being seated. We wanted to try the snapper dish, but at 530pm, they were out of snapper, and salmon was the substitute. The salmon was very dry. Luckily, after a few minutes, the sauce arrived and helped the dish. We also ordered the scallop appetizer, and it was delicious. We ordered the bread with dipping sauce. We received the bread but sauce never came. Service wasn't exceptional. Our wine glass set empty for at least 10 minutes before the waiter returned to check on us. Overall, the ambiance of restaurant was nice.

Tourist here. First time visit. Great date place. Highly recommend the Rosemary Lavender Whiskey Lemonade. Great service. Everything tasted good. They also have space for large parties.

We were visiting Galveston for a cheer competition and I was determined to eat at Riondo's. I was NOT disappointed! The food, restaurant, and service were amazing! I had the snapper special and as you can see in the photo it looked delicious. It was soooo good and a healthy sized portion. My only regret was that I walked off and left my to-go box.

The crab cakes Benedict are really good, which it the reason we like the Sunday Brunch. Today I had a bowl that had black beans, Italian sausage, spinach, goat cheese , fried potatoes & poached egg. This would have been MUCH better if the black beans were served strained. This came out like a bowl of soup & everything was SOGGY! I strained through it with my fork & left the super soggy fried potatoes behind. Goat cheese? There was a pat of goat cheese not bigger than an old fashioned pat of butter. This dish either needs to be improved or scratched from the menu altogether. Bleh!

I made a reservation for my anniversary. They brought champagne to the table and the first words out of my servers mouth was “Happy Anniversary”. It made me feel like they take their reservations seriously enough to know who they're serving. I appreciate that. Our server offered to take photos for us too. She was knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was AMAZING!! I loved the building they call home too. Thank you for repurposing an old building to keep the history alive downtown. If you're looking for an upper scale “casual” (I say casual, but we dressed very nice as did many others, but it's not required) restaurant with reasonable prices this is the place. I highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My wife had the chicken cannellonis and I had the cioppino. Both dishes were well prepared and flavorful. We went home raving about the dishes and are planning on a return trip to sample another dish. The service was equally excellent and the ambience intimate.

We were new to Galveston area and found Riondo's. It was amazing! I can't say a negative thing and I will say I am kind of a food snob. It was so good we went twice for dinner during a 4 night stay. Do yourself a favor and go.

Food was very good, service was really bad for the level of restaurant and our past dining experiences there. There was a big over 2@ people party, but our waiter was not their waiter and he kept forgetting things and service was extremely slow.

We always love This restaurant and the atmosphere. Excellent service. Unfortunately 3 of the 5 of us ordered the same pollo dish and it was so salty we could not eat. The bread and salad was great!

Great food all around--most especially the Prosciutto di Parma appetizer. Very kind and welcoming host and server. They gave us a special, quiet table for our anniversary dinner. Will come again!
