The service has always been great when I visit this place and the food is amazing. The only two words you need to know when placing an order, "Kitchen Sink". The name of this particular taco might seem odd, but when you think of the quote, "They threw in everything, but the kitchen sink", you begin to realize the implication. You might seriously need help finishing it though my friend, Good Luck

Less of a fan now that they've closed this location. I only got in there a couple more times. Service and food were great, still kind of expensive and never seemed like it took hold.

We've eaten here before and really enjoyed the tacos. Nice variety of flavors plus salsa varieties are amazing. However....not sure what is going on with the sides. We ordered for carry out....tacos and the Cowboy Corn. They were out of the Texas brisket...bummer. We purchased 2 Cowboy corn for $7.00 and attached photo is what we got in our small containers. They used to be filled and now "maybe" half full. At this price I think its fair to ask the container is full. If you were running low, we would have appreciated if you told us and we would have ordered something else. Thanks for your time!

First time here. It's very good for this area. Had the habanero chicken taco and the shrimp tacos. Both were very good. Queso is awesome too.

I'm fairly certain that there was a piece of fingernail in my queso at my last visit, and the tacos were cold even though they came out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Super disappointed... This place has progressively gone downhill since my first visit.

Plenty of Tex Mex staples and a few unusual choices, like the chicken and waffles tacos. One taco is easily a small meal; two will fill a hungry adult. Extra friendly service.

Tacos were awesome!! I ordered 3 totally different ones, and each tasted great! I can’t say which one was my favorite, because they all had different flavors that popped when you bit into it! I’ll be back!❤️

Very yummy and fresh! Lots of salsas to choose from. They have outdoor seating and a bar also! Big menu with lots to choose from! Kids menu also. Happy Taco and Golden chick share a building. They also have television screens to wat h sports.

I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I live around the corner so I continue to give them chances. Food is inconsistent, often cold or wrong. Actually it’s always wrong. We usually have to wait a ridiculous amount of time. The customer service is absolutely terrible. Not just once or twice but every time. Given them plenty of chances. This place sucks.

Place was great when they opened. But now they have raised their prices, cut their portions, and it appears they are buying poor quality meats. The "fajita chicken" is now chopped up low quality chicken, possibly mixed with dark meat. The breakfast tacos were amazing when they opened. Another item that is now mediocre. Also hate to see that the original staff are all gone now.
Please provide adequate staffing for your establishment. Today is not my first experience with extremely slow service. The cashier can NOT do it all, nor should this be expected of is person. It took over 30 mins for 3 vegan tacos. Your menu advertises several salsa but only have 3 available. Service delivery is a HUGE component of being a successful business when you are serving!

Awesome tacos. Nine Juan Juan Sauce + Salsa Verde so good The queso rocks as well. I ordered the hell fire pork taco (great flavors) and the Fried chicken and queso taco. Both were unique and delicious Best taco joint in DFW

Love this place! Staff are friendly and have great attitudes. Food is great! Very close to home. ...But I do have some complaints: the last 3 Wednesday nights I've come in for Coronas, you've either been out or to your last bottles. Tonight I stop in for a quick shot of silver tequila and there's not any. I don't know who is in charge of ordering the liquor/beer, but they are not doing it very well. To have a “full†bar area, you'd might want to stock better or more often. You don't want to lose customers. Otherwise, great place!

The shrimp tacos changed! They are no longer using real shrimp. I only order the Luau and the Malibu. Just one of each are fulfilling and flavorful. I absolutely loved them both until now. The shrimp being used now is the breaded mini shrimp that can be bought in the frozen section of the grocery store. Since this is all I eat at Happy Taco, I won't be back. If you go, DON'T GET THE SHRIMP TACOS! Total waist of money.

Nice restaurant and lady taking orders was nice!!! Reason for the 3 star is because the shrimp tacos were cheap popcorn shrimp and tacos are $3.95 each! The only taco that was worth that I tried was the Buffalo taco! Trash cans were overflowing and it wasn't even crowded. I would recommend trying it but don't be surprised by the cheap ingredients.
