I love this place! The food is awesome And so are the owners. The Nathan is my favorite or maybe the cod wrap or maybe The burgers. Anyway everything is great. The place is always clean too! I love seeing the owners kids hanging around. They are are very mannerly. Go to this place ASAP!

Brought a large group and was very impressed by the great food and great service. Many in the group were very complementary of both.

One of the best chicken fried steaks to be found locally. Good home style food.

They had a very good spinach salad. Their dressing was exceptional. The cheese cake was worth it as well

The lady who took my order over the phone was the same lady whom attended me when I got there and let me tell you.......she's just a sweet angel sent from God that day because she turned my awful day into an amazing day with her sweet and warm welcoming voice and personality. I had the chicken fried chicken steak and it was juicy and flavorful, not dry and stale. The only thing that was not good to me where the smashed potatoes, they had a sour taste to them like they had sour cream or something. Other than that it was really good and homemade taste to it. Will definitely be returning.

another main street cafe post got the mushroom swiss burger with regular fries (didn't have a choice with fries ):) and the strawberry spinach salad (sub pecans with chicken). best mushroom swiss burger i've had in a very long time. i finished the entire thing, which i normally don't do. the strawberries tasted very fresh, as well as the spinach. the chicken was very moist as well. however, the vinegar ended up in the middle of the dish, thus soaking the spinach at the bottom, failing to evenly coat the salad with vinegar. it still tasted good nonetheless. tammy forgot the specialty fries but it's okay because it was still good!

This review is based on last 2 visits. Went in about a month ago and asked for a glass of wine, due to a loss of the owners mother 3 months prior they lost their license to serve (sorry for the loss). OK hesitantly decided to stay, the meal was OK soup cold. No more complaints though as just wanted to enjoy the visit with a friend. Month later, went back, I don't own a restaurant so figured they had the license worked out. Nope. OK I'll have water with lemon....no lemon...OK guess I'll just have water. So far not happy but OK that's the start. We decided to stay and order, asked for fried pickles and chicken wings....youd have thought I asked for her arm to slap her with. She literally went off on a tangent.... I was told mother had passed 3 months ago so they were not serving alcohol due to no license, they were no longer serving chicken wings.....REALLY... I'm offending her when 3 things I asked for they didn't have. I'm truly sorry for the loss but don't take it out on customers who are just winding down trying to have a meal that they cannot get most things that are on YOUR MENU or that are generally expected at restaurants. I'm amazed how this place stays open and this was the last time I'll go there. WE LEFT! HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN THROUGH AND DONT NEED TO FEEL ATTACKED.

Small local restaurant in downtown Garland with great customer service. Great selections of burgers, sandwiches, and steaks. We ordered the fish & chips and chop steak, both were very delicious. We'll be back very soon.

Place is cool and homey feeling. Staff is super nice and make you feel so welcome. I've been twice. First, the chicken sandwich is amazing. Fries are good too. Everything I've tried has all tasted so fresh and homemade. I've tried the burger which was great as well but I must say the breaded chicken sandwich buffalo style is simply one of the best sandwiches I've had. I tasted some tomato basil soup and it was really good. This last time I went we ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. OMG, I practically inhaled them! They are sooo good and addicting! My son had the ribeye and he said it was an 8 out of 10. He also said their mac and cheese was really tasty. Everyone in my party of 4 loved the food. I've been twice so far and it's becoming one of our monthly rotations. You should give them a try if you like fresh homemade food that is prepared with a ton of flavor.
