The quesabirria tacos are to die for! We make the drive for these. The restaurant is located inside a strip mall. They are open Thursday - Monday. Their food has always been on point - correct orders, fresh food, great service.

I can't complain about the food but I do have something to say about the 2 girls working the register not sure about the rest of the staff but them 2 are something else. I understand when being short staffed and are unable to deliver but, what I have seen that they pick and choose who they want to deliver too!!! They need to work on their costumer service and hospitality, and also for them to smile and not look like they are judging a person from heat to toe!!!!!

Tacos Y Tortas Ricki's is tucked away inside Plaza Garland, and is an absolute hidden gem. I was hesitant to post about it because I want to keep it to myself, but this place deserves ALL the attention. I ordered two beef quesabirria, two beef tacos, and two chicken tacos. I assumed they would be tiny for the price, but I was wrong. Everything mentioned was stuffed to the brim with meat. The tacos come with two salsas (red and green) chopped onions, lime, radish, cilantro, and grilled onions on the side. The red salsa was amazing. Great flavor and just the right amount of heat. I did not try the green salsa as I'm allergic to avocados, and creamy green salsas tend to contain them. The meat was tender and flavorful, and all of the sides/salsa were fresh. The all star of the meal was the quesabirria. It's to die for, and if you've never had it, this is the place to get it. The guajillo marinaded beef and Oaxaca cheese melt in your mouth. The consume is rich and brings out all of the flavors of the meat. It's also served with fresh onions, cilantro, radish, and red salsa on the side. I thought I enjoyed the red salsa with the chicken and beef tacos, but the salsa that comes with the quesabirria is different (and even better). Is the food greasy? Absolutely, but in the best way. If you're looking for authenticity, this is the place. I highly recommend!

Ordered on Uber eats, it got here so fast and it was definitely still hot! The quesabirria tacos are smaller than I thought (I only got 2 bc I thought it would be big) but they were stuffed!The chicken tacos were really good and had a lot of meat. & The large fries could have fed 4 people. There was only two of us but we ate it all ?

Im sorry but this is not a torta this is a MEGA TORTA full of meat and ingredients also the price is really good but theTASTE itself is AWESOME like a real homemade mexican torta and i will be back.. my number one spot now
