I come eat here regularly, bringing friends and family when they visit, and each time I have been met with excellent service and delicious food! Sometimes it is a bit rowdy inside, but it's a busy restaurant so it's understandable. Highly recommend, never had a bad meal here!

Great place for date night! Hit it at the right time and adult beverages are on happy hour pricing. Tuesday night is the best with the 2 for 25 surf and turf. Wait staff is very friendly!

Hands down the BEST chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes I have ever had from any restaurant, ever! I might just have to visit Wildwood on a monthly basis now. ?

The food was hit and miss. Appetizer was not good, very bland.

This is one of the best restaurants in Firewheel. They always have great happy hour prices, fantastic appetizers and the best fish and chips in the entire metroplex. Cozy atmosphere, always great service and well presented dishes.

2/10/24: A friend and I decided to have lunch here. We sat at the bar. Deon was bartending and he was a great host. He was taking care of the bar and the tables around the bar are. I thought he was overworked, but he didn't seem to mind.I had a burger and my friend had the chicken fried steak. We enjoyed both entrees. The bar area was very clean, and Deon was very friendly and engaging. There was a very nice selection of draft beers. We had a great lunch, and would definitely come back. There's plenty of parking in the area.

Fish and chips were greasy this time and French fries for 3 of us were all little pieces. Unusual for Wildwood. Server was excellent, let us set the pace for our experience expertly.

We both ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. The meatloaf was firm but juicy. Excellent flavor. The green beens were cooked perfectly and spiced magnificently. The mashed potatoes had smooth creamy texture . I'm looking to our next visit to try something else.

I was not aware that Wild Wood served upscale dishes! I will gladly spend my money and time here. The acoustics on Saturday afternoon made this a buzzy beehive, with pop tunes overhead music trying to push down thru it. There is a long bar counter, shaded outdoor seating, a meeting/party room, and many, many comfy booths with padded leather bench seats. The hostess stand at the northeast corner entrance (nearest Dillard's) will find you seating for your party. I entered via the back door from the massive parking lot, and a bar back sent me to the hostess, like a lost kid LOL My waitress was young, energetic, and very confident. Seems like all the staff enjoy working here. My booth had twin power ports, with USB ports also. The Artisan Salad came with jícama cubes, pepita seeds, and dried fig halves, mixed with nice greens, and a savory dressing that was not too sweet. For only $11, this was a great deal, besides great tasting. The huge ceramic dinnerware was nice, but made the entrees look small in photos! The dishwasher must be into weightlifting. The Atlantic Salmon, I ordered rare. Too many places in Texas nuke this fish, send it to the electric chair. But, the Salmon oils are part of the prize, this fish is good for your health. I miss my road trips into Oregon, the reservation casinos served boatloads of Salmon from the Columbia River, yum! I was Bubba Salmon, dreaming of ways to cook it. The bed of basmati rice was slightly undercooked, but did not prevent me from chowing it down, bedsprings & all. This was a thick salmon filet, with a nice topping of shredded jícama, cucumber, and perfect salsa. $22 was very fair price. I plan to visit the Southlake, and City Line locations also, to sample more of this menu. Definitely a great place.

The ambiance was a 10/10 it wasn't too busy I went on a Saturday. Also I got pecan crusted chicken and it was really good.

Last night popped in for a beer and Giovanni was killing it! They are very lucky to have him behind the bar. Always remembers all his guests and makes you feel welcome. The whole staff is amazing, but Gio, Abby, Jazlyn, and Tracey are the main reason I make this my go to spot when I need to get away. Thanks again guys!
