We ate lunch here with our granddaughter and she had a great time interacting with other children. She also enjoyed her meal. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken dumpling soup. Very good.

Great sandwich spot in town, short walk from the RV park. Had excellent food and service, very kid friendly!Kid-friendliness: Have an entire section for kids to play! Even have a dress up area!

My Ruben sandwich was divine! I can't wait to go back and try another type of sandwich. Sammy was the best waiter! He was funny and very attentive. He took amazing care of us! I loved that there was a play area for my kids! They said it deserves a 5 star rating just for that! My kids also loved playing the Pac-Man game. The clean freak in me just wants to go back with a duster and bleach, and give the whole place a good scrub! The place just really needs a good cleaning! The hanging art was so dusty and the whole place was very dirty. Our table was sticky. And the books they do have, are not being well cared for. Almost an afterthought. Which as a book lover is very disappointing. However the food, specifically the sandwiches are definitely worth restraining my OCD tendencies. I'm sure the kitchen itself is cleaner than the rest of the place. My husband says the bathrooms were very clean, which is the most important place to have clean in my opinion. We will be returning!Kid-friendliness: Best place to eat with kids! Even more fun than Hat Creek!

An adorable place full of cute old toys & tea sets! Our sassy server kept us laughing & the food was deliciously perfect. My Veggie Wrap minus the cheese was a yummy vegan lunch with a side of salt & vinegar chips. Will be back next year on the next Women’s Retreat!Vegetarian options: The Veggie Wrap or some of the salads with a couple substitutions will make a tasty meal.

Took the family to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and stopped here on way back. Seemed like we time-traveled to when the southern white folk didn't get out much and had stereotypes and cognitive biases against people of color. The discrimination was real even for 2024.

What do I like about this place you ask? It'd be a lot shorter review if I were to say what I DON'T like about this place. I do NOT like that they're only open til 3! Lol lol I TOTALLY understand why they aren't, though, and I STILL love this place, and I will continue going until I'm old and Grey. Oh, WAIT! I already AM old and Grey! Well, I'll stop going there when I win the lottery (that I don't ever play) lol

Great little sandwich place in Glen Rose. I didn't take any pictures but all of our sandwiches were so good and filling. We'll definitely try this place again. Service was great as was the ambience. Loved all the books.

A favorite in Glen Rose! Perfect for lunch with the family. The kids love playing in the playroom while waiting for the food to come out. The food is great. I recommend the chicken salad on a croissant. And the blackberry cobbler, yum!

Cobbler and coffee were very tasty and the staff was wonderful. But for those looking for an establishment that’s a little more bookshop than cafe this isn’t it. It’s a darling cafe with a yummy looking menu (we only had cobbler and coffee) and the walls are lined with floor to ceiling books.
