My concern why and pay 4% to use my American Express and why nobody let me know. I don’t think so. It’s right be sure let the customers know before they use the credit card please myself. I don’t think so. I can come back again.

Chips were stale, salsa was not authentic, they put melted cheese on my nopal asado (GROSS!) Also I ordered agua de melon expecting it to be authentic, it tasted like lemonade and artificial melon flavor. Tortillas were also not home made. Overall—food was GROSS! Will not be returning👎🏼

Ehhh....$25 bucks for 4 tacos with no toppings is kinda crazy! No onions, no cilantro, just an extra charge for a flour tortilla substitution. Service was great, even for a to go order but this being my first time in there has to be good food or good prices to bring me back and the tacos weren't it.

We have been coming to Rio Bravo for years. Loved the karaoke 🎤 atmosphere. The food was good But never were we charged a 4% for using our debit card last night. I think they need to tell clients that before sitting them. That way they have the option of being seated or leaving. It’s understandable to be charged the gratuity/tip.

Could not speak English, did not understand or explain order well or that it was an xtra charge of $4 for a side of sour cream, lettuce and pico. Food was very bland.

Perfect late night spot. Live entertainment and great service. The food was really good...I was surprised since it was so late when we went on a Saturday night. We got there around midnight and the food was fresh and hot.

Honestly I don’t know how I ended up at this place but it was not good! Food was cold as hell and drinks were definitely watered down.

I visited the restaurant on June 24, 2025. First of all, the staff only spoke Spanish, which made communication very difficult. I kept asking about vegan options, but they didn’t understand me. My cousin had to write it out on a napkin, and they finally said they could make cheesy enchiladas with beans and rice. I then asked if the price would be cheaper since I wasn’t getting any meat, and the man told me yes — it should be less.

When they brought my food, I asked for sour cream, guacamole, and tomatoes on the side. When it was time for my cousin and I to check out, my ticket was $14 and some change. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and asked for my change. To my surprise, the total had now changed to $20.13.

When I questioned it, the cashier said the increase was due to the sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, and tomatoes I added. But no one had informed me that there would be an extra charge. I understand there’s usually a cost for extras like sour cream and guacamole — that’s not the issue. The problem is that no one could communicate that clearly to me, and it feels unfair to be charged without being told upfront.

Also, the food wasn’t good, and the overall service was disappointing. No one seemed to speak English — until it was time to pay — when a woman came out and told me that she has to pay extra at other restaurants too. I get that, but if you’re serving a diverse group of customers, it’s important to have at least one staff member who can speak English and explain charges properly. This experience left a bad impression.
