We stopped by (our 90th 'cue stop in Texas and the 380th nationwide) to learn whether they were still trimming the bark off the brisket (they are), and using a microwave to warm the plate (still the case). $35.18 purchased a 2 meat platter (brisket and links) with a medium side of baked beans, and a sausage plate with a medium side of potato salad. The latter is our favorite commercial product, while the beans are terrific-- a rich molasses based bowl into which we dipped the otherwise bland brisket to add flavor. The sausage and links both proved to be good bites, both packing heat, especially the links. We finished up with a sinfully good serving of pecan cobbler that, like the beans, we heartily recommend..Parking: Parking is catch as catch can around the building.

We found this place by accident while driving through and decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed.This is by far the best brisket I have ever had, and having been born and raised in Texas should say everything.The staff has always been the friendliest ever time we have visited. Each time we have visited from Houston, we have made it a point to stop by and get some of their food. We love it!

Drove in from Houston for a business trip felt like eating BBQ Google it and Bob's pop out . Drove to location order sliced brisket and rib plate my compadre order 3 meat plate . Needless to say brisket and ribs are very good and hospitality is very welcoming we even had a laugh at the end over slices of bread. Awesome people.

This place was great! The brisket melts in your mouth. It had the beautiful pink smoke penetration. The potato salad and beans were absolutely delicious! The folks running the place were very friendly and personable. If you want bbq in Henderson, Texas, this is the place to go!

We're from out of town & got recommended this place. You don't get much for your money. I wasn't too fond of the bbq but my bf loved it. I got chopped brisket sandwich plate & he got a rib plate. The potato salad was my fav tho! It was delicious, the baked beans were good too, I wasn't too fond of the coleslaw either. The boudain was dry & tasted old. The people inside the store were nice ☺️

The ribs were not good.I wanted to give them a try but hate I wasted money on a whole pound. They tasted old & kind of rancid, so disgusting that I threw them away.I did buy a half of a pound of sliced brisket and that was decent but I will not go back.
