Good food. Reasonable prices. Grossly understaffed. Wasn’t served within 5 minutes of arriving to order. Employee is too busy with packaging online orders. Saw multiple people come to order, waited 5 minutes and then left.

I had the Farmer's plate of shrimp, mixed vegetables, and Brussel sprouts. For $24, the portion size was not great. While the vegetables and sprouts were ok, the mostly raw shrimp was pretty unforgivable. I showed an employee, and was told they were sorry. No offer of a discount or refund was made. Raw seafood can make people very very sick, and for that to go out when they weren't even busy is just unacceptable. Hopefully they get their staff trained better before they kill someone.

Shrimp and grits have no flavor! One little sliver of hard burnt bacon... Today was my birthday and I just wanted to spoil myself and boy was I wrong!!! Ordered online and still had to wait extra time when they weren't even busy... just lazy and no since of urgency. Even the attitude of the cook lady seemed like she didn't even want to work today...

This place was so good! The food was excellent and it came out quickly. It's located right in the heart of Houston in Finn Hall. There's lot of great places to eat in this spot. I would recommend getting either the nutella french toast or the brisket and eggs!

So, My first visit was on 1/29/22 and i must say, I loved it. Scenery was amazing. These new beignets OMGGGG..so amazing and I'm not a big pastry eater but those will be my new favorite guilty pleasure. I had the shrimp and grits for my meal. The grits, cooked perfect, as well as the shrimp. The only complaint was the food was not hot. it was more on the warm side, as if it had been sitting but we only waited maybe 10minutes before food came out so I don't think it sat. Upon trying it on 1/29, I had to go back and try this place again, so went back today, 1/31/22, but this time I got the deconstructed chicken pot pie...:-( not a fan and I lovveee me some pot pie. Potatoes were hard and flavor just wasn't there. Overall good spot. I would stick with the brunch menu though.

Absolutely delicious! They nailed the flavor in these dishes. We had the pineapple shrimp tacos, brisket stuffed sweet potato & the ancho chicken bowl and each one was a delectable meal. Adorable place, clean and friendly staff too.

Visited @finnhallhou which is a perfect spot for either breakfast, brunch , lunch or dinner and is located in downtown Houston.I had breakfast at @dishsociety and ordered their BRISKET N’ EGGS which is a house favorite and consists of smoked chopped brisket with tomatillo relish (so good ), pickled onions, fried corn kernels, and two sunny side eggs served on top of smoked gouda grits.Check out my IG @letstraveleatrepeat for more of my experience.

Very "chain" like, would not go back. Prickly pear margarita: too sweet, tasted like a slushee. Hummus: basic, nothing special Salads: not great, drenched in dressing, crispy chicken was very dry and mostly breading. Sides: soup was sub par, truffle Mac n cheese was so so Service: staff was not very friendly or talkative
Big disappointment. Staff raved about their shrimp and grits and it would have left a mouse hungry. The mouse would not have to have taste buds because it was tasteless. They left a clump of grits which needed to be broken up and after I finished my dinner my side salad came. Overpriced poor quality not impressed not coming back.

Great food fancy dishes and fun decor. sad they dont have any dinner options but that beats eating out of a trough with my camels. The meals are ASOOOOOOOOOO bussin and the servers are so nice. fast food very speedy and i love their little club there they warship dishes (for legal reasons thats a joke)
