The food was good. Was looking forward to their home-made tortillas when I placed my order for quesadillas, however it was store bought tortillas, not authentic at all. The waiter stated that the lady who makes their tortillas in-house freshly made was not in at the time of visit. ?Their margaritas is always good tho.

Don Pico's is a restraunt that I had been eyeing for months, but delayed because the parking lot was always full. Friday early-afternoon, I decided it was time to throw out any delay and have lunch. I'm glad I did! The service is great, atmosphere clean and best of all...food was authentic Mexican cuisine. The full parking lot supports my opinion...give these folks a try! They earn it!

I enjoyed myself was very busy when I first came in and was very hard to get someone to get to us but I understood it was a holiday and very busy... But the relative of the owner her name was Leticia was very helpful and I thank her... Location is great & drink are the best...

Food was good. Portions were great. The atmosphere was loud and bar-like. The skinny margarita I had was terrible.

It's ok. Ordered chicken fajita nachos and got beef. The reason I ordered chicken was because I had the beef before and it's just tiny chopped pieces of beef, drier than you would ever want on fajitas but not so bad you have to send it back. For the price it's still a doable plate of nacho's. The red salsa is very good. Great flavor and nice spice. The green salsa however, is just a weird texture with a pickled flavor that leaves you wondering, who thought that was good idea? But I would go back and try other menu items because the whole restaurant smells like delicious Mexican food and the staff is very nice and friendly and again, the prices are good.

The service is always good and the food is even better. Been going to this place for 30 plus years and have never had a bad experience.

Good margaritas and cheap! Love that this place remained operational during the arctic blast of 2021, too!

The food is awesome and the margaritas are great and they have really good margarita specials!

You need to be careful here in ordering your food. We got everything over fried and tasteless except for tap water which was smelling like Clorox. Low priced food sounds good but again don’t get too excited about it and order just a beer. Good luck

The food is okay. The service can vary. Sometimes you go in and get quick, friendly service; other times, it may take a little bit longer or the service isn't as friendly.I just got off of a phone call with an employee. I was asking him questions because Texas has a cold freeze right now. We went around in circles for a couple seconds because I very clearly was asking him if I can eat at the restaurant, but he kept just saying that I can order to go. After I verified that they're only open for pickup (I guess), I asked him if the food is safe to eat because of the boil water notice. He then asked me if I would like to order because he's busy. I guess he got annoyed because I wasted a little time trying to get very specific information from him that he wouldn't even clearly answer. I hung up right there.I would've given this establishment a 3 star because of the average food and inconsistent service, but I'm taking off one extra star because of that guy. I didn't get his name. The only reason I would come here is because it's literally walking distance from my apartment, but there are better restaurants to go to in the area.You guys need to streamline your customer service if you want a better review from me. If he really was busy, all he had to do was ask me to call back in a couple minutes or say he will call me back. You do not push a customer to order when they have safety concerns about your food because you're "busy".

Don't judge it by the location. The food is excellent and cheap. The service is good.

This place used to be a favorite neighborhood spot for us, then they had a long rough spot where we stopped going because the food went down hill. Now though, at least for the menu items we eat they seem to have their mojo back! Been there 2 or 3 times lin the last couple months and it seems like the Don Picos of old...
