Good place for a fast casual meal. Tortilla chips have been stale lately due to no longer pre-bagging the chips in sealed plastic. That's a big bummer because that's an easy $5 upsell but I'm not paying for stale chips.

They really hit home with their vegan Chorizo, which is why Freebirds will always be over Chipotle for me. They also have kids eat free every Sunday.

What happened to this place? It used to be so good. The building is nearly derelict. The dining room is empty and dirty. My burrito wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't anything better than Chipotle. Don't go out of your way to come here. It's essentially a fast food place now.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of selections and combinations for vegetarians and vegans, including vegan proteins.
We loved Freebirds when we lived in TX. We were visiting Houston and tried this location. When we went in, there was hardly any people even though it was lunch time. I ordered a bowl, and it was not as good as I remembered. I'm not sure whether it was this particular location or the quality just went down in general. The service was just okay.. I don't think we will be back to this location.
I got food from here through doordash. After the service fees it was $24. $24 for one burrito. then the burrito itself was so bad I couldn't finish it, and I felt so sick from the food I threw up. $24 for one burrito that was so bad it made me throw up
