I stopped by this bakery for the first time and was genuinely impressed. I ordered a croissant, and it was easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. It was incredibly fresh—still slightly warm, with a beautifully golden, flaky exterior and a soft, buttery inside that practically melted in my mouth. You can really tell it was made with quality ingredients and a lot of care.
The overall atmosphere of the bakery was cozy and inviting, and everything in the display looked tempting. If the croissant is any indication of the rest of their offerings, I’ll definitely be back soon to try more. A great spot for anyone who appreciates well-made pastries!

Overpriced. A croissant for almost 6 dollars??? Too much sugar... too much butter... even though I went back for some flavor and quality, I think it is not worth the price. The croissants are very flaky, I like some of the tarts... the paris breast was nice the first time, but the second time they were too sweet...

Strike 1: Selling food that is eaten with your hands and not having a sink for customers to wash their hands is a no-go for me. Anyone who has taken servsafe knows that sanitizer does not replace hand washing.
Strike 2: The woman making our order was complaining about the drink we ordered to another employee. No special other, just straight from the menu. Kind of kills the positive anticipation of that first sip.
Strike 3: Expensive

Good fresh sourdough!
Worth the money and worth the wait, hands down. Finally was able to try it and I’m blown away everything was SO GOOD! Got one of a bunch of things to try and haven’t had any that I didn’t love. The croissant bread pudding is the new love of my life it’s amazing!

They have the best chocolate croissants I have ever had!
The best French bakery in the Houston area! It's a 45 minute drive for us but it's worth it! My favorite is the pain au raisin. They are only available on Sundays, though.
These best in Houston!! Such an authentic French Bakery!!
Best croissants! 😋 🍞 🥐
This is my favorite baker that keep telling all my friends about.
BUT, the service is just so slow! Today I went there, and there was just 3 people ahead of me, and it took 12 minutes to get my order! If you go on a weekend, there is always a line and it takes at least 30 minutes to get served (if you go around 8 am, you might even wait for 50 minutes or more). Before I explain the reasons, I want to write this message to the owner: For the love of GOD, can you make more almond croissants??? You always run out of them after an hour, why not just make more of those, instead of lets say plain ones??
And now let me explain the reasons why there is always a line:
1- They are highly disorganized: There is always few people who runs around and looks confused, and on top of that, there is not even enough workers to handle this many of customers.
2- The online order thing: They are getting online orders (not same day, for the next day(!)) and there are always 1-2 people who are preparing these online orders - which adds up to lack of personnel. Why don't these online orders are prepared in the back, instead of in the front, where actual people are waiting to place orders? Because this way, there can be more people in the front, without getting interrupted by the servers running around for online orders.
3- So here is the layout for you Magnol:
3 people getting orders in the front,
1 person is assisting them with the drink orders
2 people preparing online orders in the back
4- So, overall, they have a big management issue. Its like a good product without good interface.
