Service was excellent. Make a reservation as they book up pretty far in advance! Food was very good, no complaints at all but somewhat limited options if you don't eat seafood (understandably, as it is coastal Italian, but just noting this). Definitely recommend if you're in the area and wanting some authentic, fresh, Italian food!

We visited for the first time this evening and my husband ordered the special - lamb chops in red wine sauce. He said it’s the best meal he’s ever had at a restaurant. The service was amazing and the owner is a delight. We’ll be back!

Okay Ambiance is on point - very local, hole in the wall feeling. My salad was adorned with a marinated carrot salad. The salad was prepared into bite sized pieces and was a perfect lunch portion. I ordered the lasagna and was not disappointed. My friend and I were in/out in 45 minutes including extra at end to chat. Almost too fast of service for a sit down meal. Nearly took the same amount of time to walk there from where I parked. I parked at walker@main garage - $20 fee included easy access to everything subterranean in the tunnels. Really, a great day.

It was my first time going to this beautiful like place and it won’t be my last. I loved everything about it. When we initially got there it was a sign saying that they were full but they told us to come in and sat us right away. The couple next to us gave us really good recommendations, the view was amazing, the service from beginning to the end was outstanding, and the food was immaculate. I had shrimp scampi and my daughter had penne della casa both dishes were really good portions, and very flavorful. This is a new favorite place of ours and we will for sure be back we definitely have to try dessert. Thank you guys for everything

This Italian restaurant is probably my favorite one downtown, only been here twice but I was delightfully surprised by the quality of the food on both occasions. My first time visiting was back in 2019 during the workday. It was so busy when I came in, the dining room was packed with so many office workers. I really liked the hustle and bustle though and it gave me a feeling like I was in Little Italy in NYC.The ambiance is very quaint and we got a table by a window. It's hard to hear the person seated across from you as the restaurant is super small and the tables are so close together.I ordered the Linguini Alle Vongole, clams tossed in white wine sauce with Linguini and it was delicious. This pasta dish was ideal for a work lunch as the clam juice and white wine makes eating linguini refreshing and not heavy.I also had the tiramisu here for dessert, again very light and not overly sweet.I made a second trip here on August 31, 2023, also during the workday. It was a real nice treat since my colleagues and I came in post lunch-rush and no other patrons were dining in at the time. The owner himself took our order and all 3 of us opted for pasta paired with the house salad. The house salad is light and refreshing as it's only drizzled with lemon juice and vinegar. I ordered the Ravioli di Mare with Scallops and Shrimp this time. I'm a huge fan of tomato based dishes in general and this was just right in acidity and creaminess. The portions are generous, the ravioli was tender and pairs nicely with the big scallops and jumbo shrimp. It was so tasty I finished it all and cleaned my plate with the free bread that came with our entrees. My only complaint here is that I wish the ravioli had more basil in it or an addition of spinach would be nice. I love eating vegetables and the dish is missing this element.FYI, all entrees are priced at $15 and higher. The menu is very short and simple. I would gladly return to sample more items.

Found this place online when researching Italian food in houston. All the dishes come with a salad and they bring out fresh bread. Only complaint about the bread was wish it was warmer. I got the angel hair with tomatoes, olive oil and spinach. It was very tasty and delightful. I barely had time to take a pic before finishing. The person with me got the gnocchi the gnocchi part was good but the sauce had a funny taste too it. Not one of their good dishes. We also got the tiramsu for dessert which was made in house. That was also good as well. I would recommend making a reservation as it's a small place.

We've been wanting to dine here for years, but with their limited hours and our distance from downtown, it's been difficult to nail down a reservation. It's a charming, bright space that you can tell has had a lot of love put into it. We showed up early for our 6pm reservation and the wait staff was patient with us while we waited for our third party to arrive. We started with the burrata and arugula salad. We'd never tasted burrata before and found the cheese beautifully creamy and the salad perfectly proportioned. My husband ordered the linguine capri. It was light, the shrimp and pasta were cooked perfectly and the tomatoes were fresh. He cleaned his plate. I had the gamberi al limone and capers. It was fresh and tasty. The shrimp had a great snap to them when you took a bite. My only regret is not choosing a pasta dish . . . next time, for sure. The gentleman who took our order was very knowledgeable, but didn't give off that warm and welcoming feeling that we've experienced at other establishments.
