This has to be one of the greatest sushi places in Houston. And that's not for lack of competition! Between the atmosphere, extremely knowledgeable staff, and incredible food, you'd be hard pressed to find an area to improve. Literally every single dish is incredible - you can't go wrong.
Shun is special in a way that to us it’s many things — a neighborhood kitchen of friends with extraordinary culinary skills; an establishment to be proud of to bring friends and family from out-of-town; a lighthouse to point ways and share resources in the AAPI community. Coming in was such a refreshing experience. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but this place had an extraordinary atmosphere and such kind service!! I went during my anniversary and they wrote “happy anniversary” on the desert plate ? 10/10 would recommend! Also, all the employees looked like they enjoy what they’re doing which was amazing ?
