I like the food here and it's one of this places we always seem to visit when we're in Houston medical district for my check-ups. Always clean and nice folks working. Nothing extraordinary, but tasty and good prices.

All was well until a little tiny friend visited us boldly on our table towards the end of our meal. Where there is one, there are many, especially if willing to crawl around in the light and noise.

The food was fresh and came out fairly quickly. I stopped in for lunch randomly one day after a nail appointment nearby. The service was great. The cashier answered my questions and I saw her cleaning when customers left. Very friendly. I loved the family photos on the wall and the ambiance felt like a small town diner/ restaurant. It was the middle of the afternoon so saw people picking up food and a few diners like myself. I'd go again for the chicken sando . The fries were slightly thicker than shoestring size and perfectly cooked.

Food is cheap and greasy. Also they charge $2.50 per CAN of Coke. Outrageous.

The food is mediocre at best. Also be forewarned, if you order a can of coke, they will charge you for a medium drink. May sound trivial but $2.50 for can of Coke is absurd.

The food was tasty. Loved the fries and onion rings. Would return for the onion rings. The burger was good as well, but nothing special, just a good basic burger. The salad was also good and surprising with the almonds and micro greens on top. A pretty basic place with booths and tables to sit and eat at. Time to get food was average for a grill and the place wasn't busy. All in all it satisfied our burger and fries cravings near the med center.

A solid spot for a satisfying burger fix. Menu offers a number of different burger options, including the ability to swap out the patty for a vegetarian patty. The only complaint I have is that the burger and fries were pretty greasy compared up other burger places that I've been to.

Great burger, a classic flat top burger at its best. Add fresh brewed iced tea and fresh cut fries #drool, a vanilla shake with rainbow sprinkles #

Moved to the Houston area about 8 months ago and this is actually some of the best food we've had since arriving. Sometimes the regional flavors are tough to get used to when you move to a new area, but the burgers we had at Southwell's were great. We also had onion rings and shakes and both those were excellent as well. Highly recommend. Prices are good. Service is wonderful. And the burger was more than I could eat in one sitting. Keep up the good work guys!
