I just have to say a big thank you to Tropicales and their staff. I came here because I knew it was going to be a long day of meetings and homework! (3-8pm, I know that's crazy, I'm sorry!) Their iced Mocha latte kept me fueled, and their chips and queso kept my hunger at bay! I really enjoy this little spot as a place to meet up with friends or read during the less busy hours, but it's not my favorite place to study. It's a little dark, which makes it cozy to spend time with friends, drink a coffee, have a snack or brunch, or enjoy a nice glass of wine. Parking is limited, but spots open up every time. Worth every penny, on the happy hour menu, and the Friday Speed Rack menu. If you go, TIP BASED on the regular sale price not the happy hour, or you're a t**** the staff isn't paid nearly enough! That being said. I think it's a great walk, they have great food, it's pricy for what you'd get anywhere else, but location is key. They have a great location and a dog/smoker friendly patio!
