Do not go here, they will not serve you if you have a certain “appearance”. Bartenders were 2 white folks with dreadlocks that refused to greet or serve us. Came in with my boyfriend 40 minutes before close for a drink because I wanted to check out the local spots. The place looked cute and I normally work late so I’m unable to go but I got an unexpected early day so we decided to go. Only a few people were there but we sat at the bar for 10 minutes, said hi and were utterly ignored. Would definitely recommend going to Shamrocks Pub just around the corner instead. The service is immaculate and the bar is HUGE so it’s great for all different types of vibes and they have games!! Basically Green Oaks sucks and Shamrocks is awesome, had a blast at Shamrocks!

I had been really wanting to check out @greenoakstavern ever since I came across their FB page. The verdict, I'm not disappointed. Went on a Tue around 5pm with my wife and friend, reason: to close out her birthday week. It was happy hour; bought a Corona, a few good Margaritas, great Bloody Mary, & whiskey on the rocks. Spent about $30. The atmosphere was chill, the place was a bit smaller than what I expected but that's not a problem. Good to know for when I go back for a live event I'll know to get there a bit early to find a good seat. Overall, I like A LOT!!!????

I love this place! Very good atmosphere, the only problem is one off the waitress’s with weird looking appearance is very rude! But Steve the owner is a wonderful person!!! Recommend to check it out

This place is literally across the street from the tattoo shop I was getting work done at so we stopped by. It looked like it was going to be empty until we walked inside and saw that the entire place was packed. There was a band playing apparently and we had no clue, we walked in while they were taking a break. We barely found a seat at the bar and were not greeted by either bartender nor did they make eye contact, it was odd. Finally the male bartender asked for our drink order then came back and said the total was $30...for two drinks, I was shocked. Without any explanation or even a hello..turns out he charged us a cover charge for a band we were clueless about...that was not a nice surprise and we ended up leaving before finishing the one drink each. Bad vibes for me and not my style of music either. Way over crowded and unfriendly, unfortunately I do not recommend this place.

Great ownership that cares about keeping the historic feel of our community. Got to go and ask questions about the history of the building. So cool! They also bring in out of town musicians that can move the room! Great place for a few drinks close to home.

Great atmosphere, small place with indoor outdoor seating. I so love the Smoking outside only on certain days they have cigar day. They have a live band every day, music is amazing, staff and owner's are very nice and welcoming. Well organized establishment, food is good, bartenders know their stuff. Everyday specials you can find information on Instagram and their website. There are days you will pay a cover charge but it it well worth it. If you like a calm, romantic, relaxing, older crowd, piano bar type place then this is the place for you. Hidden gem.
