A couple of months ago: An older lady took my order, I got the special extra sauce and two fortune cookies. It normally takes about 20 mins but this day it was longer, I came back a second time to ask when it would be finished but she didn’t give me a timeframe instead she said I came when they were closing which is not true ? so I basically have to wait. I stated if it was a hassle I could have just got pizza from next door and went on about my day and she responds by asking did I place an order at the pizza place lol at that point I was over it and told her you have my money and I want my food. Then I changed my mind and asked for a refund. She began to grab her glasses and fiddle with paperwork and at that time I saw no food cooking or warming but instead a woman cleaning the oven. I went with my instinct and left and since my day was going sooo good!…..I just told her to keep the money.Before I approached her, she was speaking to a man that order after I did but her tone was completely different when speaking to me. I come visit this location often when visiting my family in Irving but I don’t recommend this place to anyone! The food is okkkaaayyy, I’ll give that but the experience I had was not okay and hope you guys have a declining in sales! Watch how you speak and treat people!I wrote a shorter review the same day but came back to see it was deleted. If it deletes again I will continue to post on each and every review site each month! You played with my food, money and time and that’s not okay!

I absolutely love this place we try to get food here once a week. Use our kiddos games and practice as an excuse to eat here again. This place is one of the wrost place I stopped to eat for the last year. I purchased a plate of Shrimp and rice. They delay 23 minutes for delivery, billed 2 extra rolls I didn't asked, billed a soda I didn't asked, the plate came with 6 small shrimp and 1 pound ofvrice. That's it. When I argue they said me can do nothing and can't give my money back. I paid USD14.50 for a kind of half pound of rice ration, with 6 small shrimps that I don't have courage to eat. I don't recommend to anyone.

Chicken and rice is the glue of South Irving. Amazing customer service and amazing food. Prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity of food. Me and my boyfriend have moved to Arlington but we still make the trip once a month to go eat here. The owner remembers us every time. Chicken and rice is a pillar of the community, everyone I know in Irving loves it there. No other Chicken and rice place is like it, Mr. Wongs doesn't even come close. Food can be a little greasy, but I never mind. I love Chicken and Fried Rice.

A bone in chicken wing isn't something you'd want to order from here. They used the same breading/seasoning as they would their strips. I'm not big on getting strips that's been sitting under a heating lamp for who knows how long.

Trash. I got orange chicken and fried rice. The rice was literally steamed rice that they mixed with soy sauce and had 1 pea and 1 carrot.the chicken a small piece in a bunch of deep fried breading. Every bite you can taste the oil and the appearance was clumpy as though the sauce wasn't cooked. Don't get rice or orange chicken
