I used to come to this donut shop all the time when i lived in the area. They've never been super friendly but not obvertently rude either until today. I walked in and went up to the counter, lady acted like i wasn't even there even though she looked right at me. No hello, good morning, nothing. I paid for my donuts just as a hispanic lady walked in. I'm still standing there waiting for my donuts and my receipt and she greeted the hispanic lady with "good morning" and proceeded to take her order. She didn't even have the decency to hand me my donuts or even indicate that we were done with OUR transaction before helping some else. I'm not one to make everything into a race issue, but when it is, it is. There is no other explanation as to why I (a black woman) wasn't greeted when I walked in (as the only customer in the shop) but the hispanic lady gets welcomed into the store. I will not be returning. I prefer to spend my money somewhere where I'm treated like a valued customer, yes, even at a donut shop.

Inside this unassuming place is the most heavenly melt in your mouth glazed donuts I have ever tasted! The texture and taste is just so wonderfully perfect I just keep on coming back for more. And yes, in my view it's better than KK so for all those donut lovers out there (like me), this is a must try! They also accept made to order Donuts alphabets :) The only caveat is their store hours are quite limited - they only open for half a day.

Fried not frozen! Classic glazed is a great hand made donut. The cake donuts are high quality, not too dense, and full of flavor. Highly recommend stopping in and skipping the chains.
