Great little gem. If you find yourself near DFW Airport and want good food and great service this is the place. Comprehensive menu, reasonable prices. Ask for Rhonda and you will not be disappointed. Super friendly, always ready with a smile.

Ambience - A well balanced black and white colour combination gives pleasant feeling. Nice wall decoration and photographs on the wall. The place is clean and nice place.Service - One of the restaurants staff greeted and welcomed with warmest and allocated me a table. She brought me menu with a sparkling smile and asked me for drinks.Food - I ordered garden omelette with French toast. Everything has good portion and tastes good.

I'm a harsh in my critique about restaurants and I rarely give good reviews unless they are deserving, so believe me when I say I loved this diner! They decor and atmosphere is great and everything is clean. The food is very good and nicely cooked and prepared. The service is excellent. I will definitely return when I come back in town! Thankyou Irving Diner for providing a wonderful experience!

Rating places can get mundane, however, ONE thing can allow the rating to write itself. For me, they had fresh cooked spinach on the menu! Overall experience with an awesome wait staff was first class. great value big portions. The Pot Roast bowl will be ordered again. Suggestion would be black eyed peas once in a while for a treat to the customers. thanks for feeding us. I will drag the rest of the crew in next time.

Good diner staples. Only been for breakfast here twice now and both occasions resulted in satisfying meals. Pancakes are huge. Would rank it 5 stars if they used real potatoes for their fried breakfast potatoes instead of the frozen, uniformly cut, grocery store style ones they currently use.

This diner blew my husband and me away. The 50's vibe and cute decor were perfect. The ?☕?? was worth ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.We look forward to returning there on our next trip. The #7 breakfast was spot on delicious; my husband's chicken fried steak and a biscuit the size of Texas were terrific. Then Mickey Mouse pancake was the perfect addition to the table for our grandson. It was filled with Chocolate chips.

Returning to DFW following a quick early morning trip from San Antonio, I was starving for a solid breakfast not far from the airport. Let's hear it for a TA recommended Irving Diner. It really hit the spot! I ordered the Texan skillet (or you might call it the "meat lovers special") -- just loaded with little bitty chunks of ham, bacon, & sausage, mixed in crispy diced potatoes, with freshly melted cheddar cheese on top and, in my case, two over easy eggs. Wow!! Absolutely delicious, very filling and easy on the wallet. Coffee is reasonable and also tasty, and the refills just keep coming! My server was relatively new but she performed brilliantly. Sad to say there were very few patrons there at 9 a.m. Kitchen staff performed very well, and my food was super hot on delivery. Unfortunately this cute little diner is a good 30 minutes from my home, otherwise I'd become a regular. Highly recommend to others.
