Overall, the food was really good. Had the tuna poky bowl which was much more than I expected and absolutely amazing. I ordered three rolls at the bar and all were fantastic. The only negative part of my experience was how long it took for the food to come out. Would give it five stars, other than the fact that it took almost 45 minutes for my food to arrive after I ordered.
Blue Fish has been my go-to sushi spot since I started eating sushi in 2008. Always fresh and never a disappointment.
Food was good, service was ridiculously slow and not good. There were only two servers and the sense of urgency was non existent. Placing an order took forever. Once we ordered, food came out quickly for one of us but not the other. Service has been declining for a while.
I always have great service and the food is delicious. I appreciate they have careless rolls and put so much effort in ensuring a diverse menu for all palates.
Preety decent sushi. The fish quality is good. The place huge like everything in Texas. Few servers, guess the pandemic doesn't helps. But for a Monday night it was half full...we had some tuna and hamachi sashimi... good quality and the wasabi sauce was excellent. Then we had lava roll, spicy tuna roll, and some nigiris. All good, coming back while staying at Irving.
Definitely a great sushi place to go to if you find yourself by the Music Factory. The staff was super nice. Rocket Shrimp - anything fried is gonna be good but probably not the best app here. Definitely needs the sauce but if you're between this and something else, go with the latter (shishito peppers ;) Stuffed Jalapeños- yes yes yes, this is the starter to get. Not incredibly spicy but full jalapeño flavor. Dangerously good and won't regret. Tuna Tower - another yes for the count. What's not to like, caviar, avocado, crab mix and ahi tuna. The rolls were filling whatever your type is so two would be max I would consider. Shark Bait Roll was my personal fav which came with rocket shrimps on top Wine bottle was also half off - check to see if there is a special that day
Good food.. but order two fried rice if you are hungry.. one is simply not enough.
Great atmosphere! Delicious food. Would definitely come again. So many different things to try!
Didn't get any pictures but decided to eat here on Valentine's Day. My fiancé got the Mega Lobster Roll and I got the crab cake hot plate. Well.. idk if it was because it was Valentine's Day or it was after 9pm but the food wasn't great. The lobster roll was over cooked and was hard as a rock. The crab cake although it was good it was very small and only got one for $18 dollars with no sides or nothing. We read plenty reviews before going and it looked like a great place but sadly we won't be back, at least probably not this location.
Ordered Blue Fish Sushi roll, crab cake, and shrimp fried rice. Spent about $45 This food was overpriced and mediocre at best. I would rather go to Sapp Sapp Lao & Thai in Downtown Irving Heritage district. Same price for the shrimp fried rice here but tastes better and twice the amount and they use jumbo shrimp and fresh ingredients. This Blue Fish food did not taste fresh to me. I want my money back for this average meal. Disappointed.
This was our first time at the new location in Las Colinas. We were very impressed with the ambiance, service and the fresh-tasting food! Our favorites were the spicy edamame, spicy salmon roll and the lychee sake! Kelin was our server and she had great service skills! Hands down, the best sushi I’ve had in the area. We will definitely be back!
We are moving out of state in a few days so we just wanted some rice to accompany the food we had left in the fridge for the next 2-3 days. We ordered a box of fried and a box of white. I went to pick it up and brought it home. Please refer to picture for how much they put in the box for $6!!!!!!! It is not even filled up half way!!! So we spent $9.20 for 3 grains of each rice. We find this to be unacceptable and are thoroughly disappointed!!!
Service was good. Nice casual atmosphere. I love their selection of sushi and they offer two that are keto friendly. The sushi was fresh and very well done. We invited friends who consider themselves sushi connoisseurs and they were impressed. We order so many I can post pictures but don't remember all The names of what we order.
We really enjoyed the food and wine here. The sushi was great and the service was good. This restaurant was observing COVID precautions which was nice.
Love, love, love this place. I usually sit in the bar area in hopes that Jeff will wait on me. He makes this awesome layered drink that’s not on the menu, and I love it. When he sees me, all I ask for is the layered drink, and he knows what I’m talking about. The sushi rolls are outstanding. I love the Sunday Roll, Crab Dynamite, and Shark Bait roll. They are a little pricey but it’s worth the cost... soooo delicious.
