We got the Honey Bear Latte and Butterbeer Latte with oat milk and both were delicious! Great quick service and good vibes. They have a bookshelf of games, books and manga to borrow while you’re there too!

I was in Katy for work for a few months, and my only complaint was that I didn’t find this shop sooner. I can be a bit picky when it comes to coffee shops, having worked in a smaller chain of shops through college. Coffee shops that make a proper cappuccino in big cities like these can be hard to come by, so asking for a cappuccino is always a good way to gauge the care put into their craft (also, it’s cheaper and delicious). Lava’s the only shop that didn’t respond with “what size”, and made the perfect cap every time (with some pretty great latte art to boot). I even got the name of a sweet Japanese playlist from one of the guys working there, and even though I’ve moved again I still listen to it whenever I’m studying/working. It’s got the vibes, the best coffee, and should be the go-to for anyone in the area (I know it will be for me when I come back).

Vibe- Cute coffee shop in Katy, TX! There’s about 9 tables inside to sit at and an area against the front with high seats. They offer sandwiches and parties in addition to the coffee drinks!Customer service- great!Food/drinks- I got the seasonal matcha blossom (iced) and the hot toffee moon that is made with sea salt caramel toffee; they were both delicious!Parking- There’s a good amount of parking spots in the lot.

This is my favorite coffee spot in Katy - I’ve ordered in-store and on delivery app, always a great experience either way. My go-to is the Honey Lavender Latte, my husband always gets the Dark Moon Latte. Plus the Almond Danish! 10/10

Probably a 3.5 but would definitely come back and try other things. I got the cinni minni and my boyfriend got the butterbeer. He's was definitely a 4 mine was just okay. Lacked a little bit of flavor to me. They do have specials and the place is super cute.
