I went into this restaurant due to the high rating and even with that it still exceeded my already high expectations. The asado special was incredible. We spoke with the owner and he is such a genuine guy. You can see the passion he has for what he does. Highly recommend.
This was our first time eating here and WOW! The asado special was amazing!! Fajitas as super tender and so flavorful. Cheese enchiladas are so gooey & delicious! You can tell they use quality ingredients. Chips and salsa also great. Salsa is very fresh and full of flavor. Highly highly recommend. Anytime we come to Katy, this will be where we eat!

Service is horrible, food is horrible, and to top it off expensive!!!! They decide to close early and we got kicked out when we were watching the football game. We called in advance if they where going to have the Super Bowl on and they said yes just to get kicked out on the third quarter because they decide to close early. I looked around because my kids are football fans and we just moved to the area. So disappointing. Not worth it at all. Portions are small, food sucks, and expensive.
Food was alright but the service was trash. Waiter ruined the whole experience for us. First, she seemed to be in a rush to get our order. Once we finally ordered, she takes down our order without writing it down. When we received our food, she brought us the wrong order. Never going back.

Well we made the commute out to Katy to try a new family owned restaurant that we heard about. The decor was very nice and the restaurant was very cleaned. Tables were bussed quickly and it was very family friendly. The owner of the restaurant actually took our order himself. He greeted everyone at our table and made some suggestions for us. I was a little conflicted on what I wanted because I didn't see it on the menu and ya know what, he made it happen. Even gave me my own created sauce. I trusted his judgement and it worked out great. Now I did have 2 things that I was not as excited about but it could be just me. I didn't care for the salsa, it seemed and little thin and a strong taste of cumin. The second thing was the queso. It lacked some flavor and to me tasted just like melted cheese. But there again he explained to us they have a different way and a different style which I can appreciate them doing it differently. The fajita chicken enchiladas were on point. The chicken was seasoned perfectly. We had 4 of us at our table and we all had something different. The churro's were amazing and served with a dollop of ice cream. Great ending to the meal. If you're in the area stop by and see for yourself. You might just find your new spot to eat.

The Asado Especial was really good! Steak was perfectly cooked as I ordered. You might think OK how good could a cheese enchilada be, it was really tasty. The service was great. I came in 25 minutes before they were closing. No attitude etc...super service. by the way, excellent salsa, very different and fairly spicy. Definitely recommend!
