We've been to Old Chicago in Katy several times in the last few months and the thing bringing us back the most is the service. The food is always consistent, but we've had Ashley wait on us most often and she has been wonderful! Even when she is clearly busy, she's holding down the fort and making us laugh to boot!

I normally don't write reviews, but this time I have to do it...I love this place, food is great!! but the service is so bad!!!!... so we went on company time for lunch and the orders took long time to get everyone's meals and not only that but my wo-worker had to return to the office without eating hi meal because they were extremely late with his plate.. so he had to tell them just box it up .. I was so mad because he was the only one without his meal... and didn't even got an apology or at least say we are so sorry for our delay and offer him something.. this is not acceptable... :( and it was not like it was so busy...bad situation... I absolutely love eating here. I did place a to go order. I didn't like the fact that the lady working the bar stated that she wouldn't get me a cup of water that I ordered until my order was ready because the to go cups were in the back but she was getting everyone else's drinks. Other than that the food was still good and I would get something to eat there again. I would just hope she wouldn't take my order again.

Screens are too high can't see them from the bar.No deep dish pizza any more. Pizza is dry not enough sauce.Service is great. The staff are professional and attentive.Beer selection is hit and miss. No fat tire or land shark.

25 mins sitting NO ONE acknowledged us. 3 different servers passed our table. PLACE SUCKS. It was packed with ppl (customers) no acknowledgment at all.

I love the selection of beers available here. And the pizza has just the right amount of sauce and delicious flavor. I’m never disappointed.

Good place to go for a decently priced lunch special. $10 for a salad with a 2 topping personal pizza. Get Chicago deep dish, hand tossed, or thin crust. I'm not sure if the cauliflower crust is part of the lunch special. The pizza is good and the salads are fresh. Sometimes, service is a little delayed at lunch due to lack of staff but the staff are nice. They do have a patio and multiple TVs if you want to watch a game.

It was my first time going here and I am definitely going back! The service was great and the food was awesome!

Amazing veggie deep dish pizza! The wait is about 30 minutes for a to go order and prices are in the $30's for a deep dish veggie and a soda. Floor in restaurant wasn't as clean as it should have been. They were short staffed with only the bartender attending to the entire restaurant.

Don't really want to rag on this place, but the service was ok and the Calzones kind of sucked a little. So me and a buddy go to try it for the first time a few days ago. There were literally 3 tables being served ... we made it 4 tables. Our server (Keirsten) was super sweet upon meeting... but she disappeared after taking our order. She was very low key, zero energy, felt like she was going through the motions. We even told her this was our first time eating there. Now that I'm thinking about it, both servers were stuck in the back most of our meal. Had to go get someone from the kitchen to help another customer who was picking up their phone in order. The only other complaint with Keirsten was she couldn't tell me what the difference was between a Chicago and NY pizza. Had to Google it. Shared the info with her: In the end it'll at least help her in the long run with other customers should they ask.Me and my buddy both ordered Calzones, plus I ordered us a simple personal pepperoni pizza to nibble on in between bites of the Calzones. The dough on the Calzones were heavy and thick.... and possibly brushed with egg before cooking (it had that shine, you know) . Requested extra ricotta when ordering mine. Promise you, there was hardly any inside once it was brought to the table. The marinara (or pizza sauce) that came with the Calzone tasted like a thick basic Ragu style sauce. The best thing out of everything was the simple little pepperoni pizza. It was a thin crust... tasted really good. Not saying I won't ever go back... but if I do, it won't be for the Calzones. Hands down, the best Calzone in Houston/Katy area is Brother's Pizza (Hwy 6 and Park Row).Grew up eating their pizza in my early 20s working at West Oaks Mall. Should've tried their Calzones back then. They are truly the best in town.
Really great food & atmosphere! Love this place and the service is fantastic! Went with family for my son's birthday because they have his favorite Cider on tap. Some of the best pizza we've had since we moved to Katy in 2015. We'll definitely be back!

I've been here a few times over the years and have to say: This place is great! Pizza is delicious and they have a good selection of beers as well. Their OC crust isn't the same style like a deep dish in Chicago, but it's good. I'm interested in trying some of their other crust styles as well.

Food was awful. Service was worse. Restaurant was almost empty and our server was non existent. Pizza was so bad my kids wouldn't eat it. Save yourself the money and go to the many other pizza places in the area.

This place is amazing. Definitely underrated! Food is delicious and they have a lot of drink options.

Me and my father ordered meatball subs. They were okay. They were a little small and the bread felt like it was smothered with garlic butter. Couldn't really taste the meatballs. Nothing stood out to make the sandwich good. It wasn't bad it just wasn't good.On a 1 to 10 scale I'd give it about a six.The service was good and the place is pretty cool.It has a pass through window that allows you to sit out on the patio and still be served from the bartender directly.
