The service was terrible. The server barely came and checked on us. We got our appetizer after our main course. I had to ask for my drink twice and when I got it, it was flat. I had to take it to the bar myself and get it fixed (due to the non-attentive waiter). The food was amazing, the service not so amazing.

Really disappointing. Had lunch reservations at 12.30. When arrived we were told there would be a wait for 10 mins as they were short staffed. They then seated several tables that were walk ins ahead of us! We finally got a table and they served people who arrived after us, before us. We were there for 40 mins and we weren’t even offered water! I eventually said something to the waitress and she didn’t even say sorry. We walked out. Not good.

Valentine's lunch at Tobiuo was a bit of a letdown with really slow service. They were super understaffed, just two folks running around doing everything, which made for a long wait on pretty much everything from water to food. Felt sorry for the team, but it was a bummer, especially on a day like Valentine's. The food, when it finally hit the table, was solid. But still they slipped up and forgot the fresh wasabi for our nigiri flights. Wish they had been better prepped for the Valentine's rush. The place has great food, no doubt, but they need to match that with the service, especially on the big days.
