Good food (veggie fajitas!), great queso dip and nice people. A little pricey but what isn't these days. They have a wide selection on the menu and everyone is bound to find something they want.

So I have to say I’m very impressed. You must get the white queso. Food came out quick, hot and fresh. The staff were great. They greet you at the door and are constantly checking on their customers. This is awesome especially during the times we live in. I see horror stories on reviews of customers being ignored. Sure not the case here. I will definitely be back. Can’t want to try something else on the menu. My taco and enchilada was so good.

Great food and great service. Our server was very friendly, attentive and made solid recommendations of what to order. Had the White Cheddar Queso, Stuffed Avacados and an exceptional margarita! Definitely going her again!

Ordered Fajita Quesadilla with Chicken and Steak for lunch pick-up. I get there and the total was over $20. I was a bit shocked because the website said it was $16 on the lunch menu. I said something about the website price and she looked it up before I could. She then said well, it is $17 not $18 (which is what I was charged), just a dollar less. Didn't even change my ticket. I get back to my office and looked it up and it was $16! Open my lunch and see that my quesadilla isn't even cut. A whole tortilla folded in half stuffed full. I pick it up to transfer to a plate I feel a greasy mess on my hand. The bottom was covered in grease and soggy. I won't be back!

The food was ok, service wasn't bad but for a quesadilla and bean and cheese nachos with water was $30. The food was not worth it, their "famous cheese sauce" tasted like white velveta cheese.

First of all a friend and I went for lunch at openening time. We were directed or pointed to our table .Someone else brought us silverware, no menu yet, then someone else gets drink order. She brings drinks back after someone brings chips and salsa and then gets aggravated because we did not have our menus.We ordered our food. The hard taco had no tomatos, the rice was bland, my friend ordered a chili relieno and she said it was bad.The order of guacamole had no onion ,.no tomato,no peppers., Good awful. Unprofessional. We will not be back

It's okay. Good chips and salsa. El Sombrero is good Mexican food, just not my favorite. The stacked nachos are good if you are in the mood for nachos. Good service and table was clean.

The queso is soooooo good! The food overall is very good. Our waiter was great. My only complaint is that it was super crowded and seemed to be over the limit of people that should be allowed in the restaurant- covid time or not. It was a total nightmare to walk to the bathroom from our table because there were SO many people.
I was less than pleased today. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt. I received a "To-Go" Styrofoam cup with lukewarm mix and with the salt not sticking to the crappy cup. That was $11 if I remember correctly. Amusingly, my water came in a regular cup. I asked if they had green sauce. Was told they had 2 types, a spicy tomatillo and a regular green. I asked for the spicy. I could then hear the staff yelling at each other "He asked for spicy!" So they provided me with a sweetish tomatillo salsa, stacked with shaken chili flakes. I was honestly offended I was being offered that at a Mexican restaurant. I also ordered white queso. It was utterly delicious. My final item was a shrimp cocktail. When received, it wasn't cold. I still ate it, it had a funky tinge to it. I spent $30.40 for a lunch of a small white queso, 1 margarita in a to go cup, 1 shrimp cocktail, and a water. That is not a value, it's not even close to worth the price. I will stick to the other local small taco places.

As a person who works in the food industry currently, I would have to say that waitresses, although friendly, hardly checked up on me and the food took too long to come out. I swear that every time I come to eat at this place that the drinks always taste like dishwater.

If you want or enjoy food poisoning that doesn't even taste pleasant; while also being spoken down to (if the wait staff even checks on you at all) than this is the place for you!!! Did I mention the wait staff is awful?? The wait staff is awful; I was a server and bartender for 12 years so it had to be truly awful for me to complain about the service.
