Catfish and shrimp was awful. Hard and dried out. My mouth still hurts from eating it. Cost 40.00 plus and I would rather had McDonald's double meat cheese burger. Will never go in Cherry hill catfish again. Awful!!!!!!

The catfish was burned. My husband is a trained chef & commented that the oil it was fried in was most likely old. Was hoping for great catfish but was disappointed. Maybe your experience will be better however mine was not.

First time eating here, save your money. I had the cajun shrimp and it tasted old. Or the shrimp was from a previous day. Wife got cajun fish and shrimp, she had same issue with shrimp. And fish had at least 4 cloves of garlic one 1 filet. I will say gumbo was ok and that raised my rating to 2 stars.

My husband and I loved to eat here. But we have had take out 2 times and the food isn’t really fresh any more. It’s fairly warm and the coleslaw the last time was spoiled , not to mention the green beans were overcooked. Seemed like the food was kept warm for a while. We ordered from the parking lot.

With Corona always like to let people know there are tons of gems you can visit and skip the crowd. This is one of those spots. They are a wide open spacious eatery. There staff all wear maskes and even have stickers on there tables so you can download there menu. If you need to get out and want some fried food. BINGO! Most everyone at the table got catfish and chips. Even if the menu has a particular set of sides you can switch them out. I always get the cajun catfish and shrimp. Sub out there sides for coleslaw, cajun chips, and hushpuppies. I am a picky coleslaw eater and this is not one loaded with mayo. If you like it alttile sweet you should order up. We always get the sampler with a big party. Fried green tomatoes, fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Always great portions. Meals are 11 to 15 bucks and you shouldn't be hungry after words. If your in Leander check them out.

I was totally disappointed. I ordered JUMBO shrimp and they were the smallest shrimp I've ever seen. I was suppose to get green beans with my dinner and I didn't. They were not busy at all and now I know why. Don't waste your hard earned money.
Love their fish and shrimp! The fish was smaller than I remember them. Oh well they were still good. The only thing I really miss every time we get food from there is potato salad. Otherwise I would give it a 5.

So I decided to support this local restaurant today and I didn't exactly feel unicorns and rainbows afterward. I ordered my usual chicken fried steak that I eat I in the dining room and the portion was about 1/2 of what it used to be and was $1 more than is stated on their menu. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! There was also a "to go" surcharge that really peeves me as if we have a choice in the matter during COVID. I guess I now pay for my own styrofoam to take my food home! It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth to still still feel hungry, over charged, and unhappy that I spent just over $13 on this unsatisfying meal. If you are going to raise prices, your online menu needs to reflect that change or you need to TELL PEOPLE WHEN THEY ORDER!!!! I will be questioning myself to ever return to this place.

Today we got our first Take-Out from Catfish since the whole shut-down. It was very good!! Victoria on the phone was very friendly. They didn't have everything we wanted (like the grill is down), so we had to call back. We got exactly what we ordered... FYI, we have MANY diet restrictions = lots of substitutions. They got everything right except they forgot our dessert. Oh well. It was a special occasion, and we are happy that Catfish was open. We don't eat out often, but when we do, we always go to Cherry Creek Catfish. The people and food are TOP NOTCH.

3 visits here and there will be a 4th . The hush puppies are the star. The catfish is very good but inconsistent in done-ness a little overcooked once and very overcooked once. The portion size is also an issue, ordered 3 piece got 6 once and 5 in another. Don't want extra just want what I order it is a waste cuz it ain't good as leftovers.
