We ate here yesterday. Never been to a golden chick. The catfish was in pieces and overcrispy . Your pictures look like filets. These were fish pieces so crispy I couldn't find and fish hardly. I am disappointed.
We ordered through on-line the family fried chicken for a New Year's Eve family get together. I ordered it Saturday to be picked up Sunday at 5:00 p.m. I got there at 4:56 and our order was all packaged up and ready to go. When we got to our family event everything was fresh and hot! It was the first time we've used their online system, but it won't be the last. We were very pleased and will recommend using the Golden Chick online system. We used the Golden Chick on 183 in Leander. Very friendly person at the front. Thank you Golden Chick!

When I ordered my food, the cashier was patient and kind as well. When my order arrived, the catfish was overall hot and fresh, including the fries 5/5 would come again. Lastly, on my first try, I won the plushy.

Delicious fried chicken. I drove through so I didn't get a sense of the interior atmosphere. However, it looked lively and fun. The guy who took my order was extremely polite and helpful. 5 stars.

I got there at 8 o’clock the dining room closes at 9 pm The cashier had a hard time understanding English she had to get the manager to take my order(three piece roast combo with dirty rice and okra) she set my order on the counter, without notifying me, then called out the number of a to go order that was placed after me after that, she then proceeded to break down the drink station, so no one could use it the whole time, talking to her self in Spanish in a unpleasant tone of voice. I was the only one in the dining room. Which made me feel like I was a Inconvenience for her the dirty rice look like somebody chewed it up and spit it on my plate it was all mushy I have eaten lunch there and it’s never look like that. it makes me wonder if they do short cuts like this in front of you. What do they do in the back? Where you can’t see them? This is the second time I’ve had this experience walking in at 8 o’clock! DON’T GO THERE ANYWHERE NEAR CLOSING THEY DO NOT APPRECIATE THEIR CUSTOMERS! I was out the door by 8:25PM!!!!
