There have been numerous times where I have ordered from this location and about 60% of the time, the estimated time its supposed to be finished is not accurate. If it says it would be done at a certain time, they will usually still be working on the pizza by the time it is supposed to be ready. I usually have to wait an additional 15 to 20 minutes at the store before its actually done. They messed up the most recent order I placed, and unfortunately I didn't have time to wait who knows how long for them to make another pizza to correct it. The food is great when they actually get it right, but it is always an annoying experience when the estimated times for pick up are so messed up.

I was a customer years ago, but they kept messing up orders. I decided to give them another chance today, and made an order for delivery. I specifically checked “no contact delivery”, but they rang my doorbell asking for my signature. The delivery person was very polite and apologetic, but what is the point of offering that as an option if you knock on my door either way? They also added an extra ingredient to one of the pizzas that I specifically unchecked. None of these things were worth calling the store to complain, but it’s clear they haven’t gotten their act together. At least now I know.

If you look at all my review history, you can see that I almost never give less than five stars especially for restaurants. That's because I was in that business for twenty five years and can generally sympathize with minor exceptions. Here's the deal with Marco's in Leander; I have been a customer thare since the current owners took over. Besides being close by, they have been consistently good. So, what's my problem? It seems that they have gotten to a point where it's all about the money. On Saturday, I placed an order for a medium pizza with two toppings. I had just received a coupon from them that offered that pizza at $10.99. When placing the order, I told the employee that I had such coupon, She asked for the coupon number which I gave her along with the experation date of March 2024. The employee said that sometime, the coupon might not show in their system but to just show the coupon to the delivery person . This is the first time that I ever asked for delivery from Marco's and I was not told that there would be a delivery charge. The driver came pretty quickly and handed me the pizza and I could see the charge slip that read $20.34. I asked how we had gotten to that price from $10.99 but I realized that the driver could not do anything so I tipped him $3.00 and sent him on his way. I called the store and asked for the owner. John came on and I told him what happenned, he apologized and said that he would talk to the clerk. I just assumed that he would make an adjustment to the charge. This morning, the charge is still on my account. I stopped into the store and spoke with a lady who is the manager. She said that the charge was pending but it looked like they were going to give me a "Discount " of $2. That would bring me down to $18. for something that was advertised as $11. When I was an owner / operator, I would usually give a complete refund to a long term customer who had no prior complaints. I never want something for nothing but I don;t give my business where it is not appreciated. Double Dave"s is basically the same distance from my home so that's where I will be going from now on.

The food is always great.Unfortunately, every time we come to pickup our orders, we end up waiting another 15+ minutes. Currently sitting in the restaurant 53 minutes after placing an order that said 25 minutes til ready for pickup. If you got a couple hours to wait for food, feel free.

I know you guys are understaffed and completely swamped with deliveries. I very much appreciate the delivery drivers ALWAYS delivering the pizzas still hot and fresh. The salads are really fresh too. Seriously, thank you! We never skimp on the tip because of it. I’d like to thank the chefs for always getting our orders right, and always greeting me during our pick up orders. There is never a note or side they miss.Thank you for being our local pizza shop. :)

40 minute wait on a walk in order of a calzone and pizzoli on a monday? Never going back here and wouldn't recommend ever going if you value your time. It's fast food but without the fast.

We tried Marco's at the suggestion of our son and his family, who are loyal customers. I ordered online for pickup and it was a well done website making that experience slick and easy. It gave me a 20 minute ready time and indicated they'd bring it out to my car. That's when things went a little sideways. When I got to their parking lot, it was packed but I was lucky when another customer backed out, so I pulled in and waited. 15 minutes later I hadn't seen any employees bringing out pizzas so I decided to go in. There was a line with 4 people ahead of me including a guy at the counter saying he'd waiting 20 minutes for his order . It was clear the kitchen was slammed so I put on my 'patience' hat and finally got to the counter. I think it may have been the manager working the counter who was VERY nice, apologized profusely, handed me my order and I was on my way. Both of our pizzas were still warm and tasted great. Moral of the story is to go at less busy times and be ready for a wait. It's worth it and Marco's is definitely a repeater for us!
