True Mexican food. Delicioso! A real whole in a wall! If you’re up to trying authentic food this is the place to go!

Drove there today with good intentions of trying them out. I heard they made homemade tortillas. Can't turn down a good "like mama makes" homemade tortilla, to fill up with some yummy goodness, but instead...we drove off. Couldn't tell if they were open or not...honestly looked closed down?

This place is disgusting. First thing you notice when you walk in is all the filth and the loud overated mexican music. It took awhile for the waitress to take my order. She brought my drink out and the cup was dirty and smelled horrible.I ordered Bistek Mexican the meat was overcooked the rice was cold and the beans tasted watered down! The only thing good about my meal were the homeade tortillas! Dont understand how health department still has these place open! I will definitely not be back!

There's absolutely no way these 5 star reviews are real. If so, Leander, I'm ashamed to even live here. This place is the most disgusting place I've ever been. Filth! I don't even know where to begin! Our cups smelled like wet dog, the booths were broken and lines of dirt and hair were caked up. The ceiling, vent, the tables, the floors, the broken everything! Horrible!

Went there for breakfast and the food was true authentic mexican food! My daughter who is VERY picky really enjoyed her meal as well. Service was great! The best part...HOMEMADE flour and corn tortillas ❤

I like this place because it's not just your typical tex-mex style restaurant. The chicken empanadas are so good. I love that the plates are topped with fresh toppings instead of just slathered in a pile of sauce. The service is also super friendly and they remember you when you come back. The one down-side is the loud tv on in the dining area and the radio in the kitchen.

I lived in California for 40 years then moved to Texas. While I love TexMex, I love good, authentic Mexican food more. Mayito's satisfies that! Homemade tortillas, aguas, frescas, and fresh salsa. My favorite dishes are huevos rancheros, chorizo and eggs, flautas and the chicken chile relleno, however, all dishes I've tried are delicious. Not the cleanliest of restaurants, however, I like and am used to little hole in the wall places. Love this restaurant!

I love the food, the people and the service. Especially the (red sauce
Morning breakfast tacos and a regular in our home. I love calling ahead and grabbing a huge bag of tacos for the family. Small and outdated decor but the food is teat!

I'm not sure where to start? Should I talk about the dirty floors, tables, and booth seats, or should I talk about the $4 cup of queso that came straight out of a can? Or maybe the stale chips, or more appropriately, crumbs of tasteless vessels that attempt to carry strangely colored, watery salsa to your mouth? I'm an optimist though and still held out hope for the main dish. My mouth watered at the thought of hot, crispy breakfast potatoes that have the perfect balance of salt and pepper. The kind that you know will probably burn your lips with hot grease but you just cannot wait to taste them. Well, the potatoes arrived...mushy, par-cooked - sad, deflated, and lifeless. I don't like to send food back - who does!? I did. I wanted breakfast potatoes, not soggy starch nuggets. They returned from the kitchen with some redemption. The homemade tortillas perked my tastebuds, along with the spicy green sauce. The beans...let's not talk about it. So, words of wisdom - should you care - order the green sauce and bring extra money for cheese and a coffee refill. Nothing in life is free, after all.

I really wanted to like this place. $16 for 4 tacos and a coffee? SMH. Two were undercooked maiz with day old or more barbaco. The other two were undercooked harina with mediocre carne guisada. Coffee was ok although powdered creamer? This place actually has pretty good reviews and if you like it I am happy for you. But from somebody who usually gives a restaurant a second chance I will never come back here again.
