I had a bad experience at this location previously, and after a few months, I returned hoping for the best. Well, I am glad I returned, the service here now is fantastic. The food is somehow better, maybe fresher. I grew up on Bush's Chicken in Waco and it's always been a staple for me. I was excited to know I had one nearby.

Look I get it, things are getting expensive everywhere. But this place is absolutely ridiculously out of hand. I asked the young man at the front counter why there were no prices on the menu. He told me that the prices kept going up at such an alarming rate that they decided to just take the prices off of the menu so they could stop having to take the menus down just to change the prices. If your prices are changing that fast, then that's an issue. I understand inflation. But to be inflating so fast that you can't even keep up with it? No. That's ridiculous.

I went to this location for the first time and was so disappointed. After working all day, being stuck in all this traffic on top of a long wait to place my order, I get what I thought would be dinner for my family. After leaving and now being too far to turn around realize the food isn’t fresh at all, the chicken was so hard it was picked over and trashed. My okra was soggy, after I asked for it to be crispy and wasn’t even hot. The only thing that was hot and edible was the biscuits. We basically got full off of biscuits. I will not be returning for a second time. Everything is high priced now and I don’t have money to waste.

You put our order together quickly and accurately.It's unfortunate I didn't have more cash to show my appreciation.Now, this restaurant charged $48 for a 2-piece fried chicken meal and 16 piece tenders with 1... ONE... UNO... ISA..*!!* one side... sm bx of fries!!Stupid expensive for below below fast food chicken.Stop over-salting your chicken...Especially those fried scraps pulled from chicken ribs and double coated in flour to ' give the appearance of chicken tenders" !!Salted chicken jerky. Do better especially for the price you charge

Nice staff! We have not had fried chicken on over 10 years and we decided to come here. Good flavor.
The staff was really courteous and helpful, the restaurant was clean, and the Food was made fresh, or at least it tasted as such. We hardly had to wait for our food :).Food: It's not Grandma's liver or gizzards, but its pretty good.No ding for this, but I personally think the prices to be a little high. Also, they forgot my pie, but I didnt, so it was all ok.The staff really was exceptional with their. customer service l:)
