Got there at 8:15 on a Thurs evening, well before the posted 9 pm closing time, but they were closed. There was even another car there that discovered this at the same time as us. It actually looks permanently clsoed. I'd been to their location in Garland and my date liked but she now lives closer to Lewisville so we thought we try it. Now however I will NEVER go to another location of theirs EVER.

The Catch is very good however it is a bit pricey. It would be voted much better but I have been unusually disappointed in the serving size. Service is dependent on you decision making. They support your needs quickly. Ambience is fine for children. If you do not require overeating the quality is at the Catch.

The woman who took my order at the counter was very friendly and sweet, she even helped me with how to pack up my food so I could bring leftovers to my boyfriend. The sweet tea is actually sweet, the shrimp ettoufee was delicious and the bang bang shrimp is awesome! I've also had the gumbo here before and it is delicious, I highly recommend this place for lunch

I am sad to give this restaurant a poor rating. The lady at the cash register wore a gorgeous top. I have a shellfish allergy but noted there was no disclaimer or accommodations for me (like making the extra step to cook in a different oil) Especially for the cost. Portion size was ok. The fries were nicely seasoned, but the catfish and chicken tenders, though crispy, had NO flavor. Hush puppies were nice.The young lady swept first, then wiped the table and dirted the floor again. She didn't sweep it well. Then , I guess the owner was having a conversation about someone wanting you to use the bathroom but not a customer. Who cussed out who "back there" and who hid the toilet paper. It was odd! He also was not well kept.Dietary restrictions: They don't make accommodations or offer to do so if you have a shellfish allergy. I feel they would have been ok with my money going elsewhere.

Have yet to anything bad from The Catch. The fried green tomatoes and the okra are a bit greasy. However the fish is not! The gumbo is very good. The fries have a salty sweet taste to them. I enjoyed them. They aren't crispy, if you like crispy fries I would not advise you to get them. The service was good, quite attentive. The restaurant is "a hole in the wall" in Lewisville. Paper towels for napkins, similar to Fuzzy's atmosphere. They are trying to get a liquor license...until then they serve "slushy margaritas" for free. You can't taste anything in it really; but, it's nice on a warm day.

For anyone saying this is best seafood they have ever eaten, I feel like you have not eaten much fresh seafood. Place is dirty- floors tables dishes. Shrimp was good. Rice bland catfish I suspect was not catfish and salty. Not a great experience and would suggest going somewhere else. If dirty in the front of the house what is going on in the back of the house?

The restaurant doesn't look like much, but the food is down right awesome. It has the right amount of seasonings and spices for my delicate taste buds. In my opinion, Rick has the best Gumbo in town. I haven't had a bad meal there. If you really like Cajun cooking, you have to try this place out.

My family and I ate there for the first time last Sunday and it was SO very delicious!! We got 4 different meals and tasted each other’s food, each one was a winner, I would say 5 on scale 1-5! The staff were very kind, personable and efficient even though they had several done in customers and lots of phone or online orders that were being picked up. Highly recommend the place!We liked it so well some of us went back later this same week.Vegetarian options: I saw some vegetarian items on the menuWheelchair accessibility: 2 persons in our party are handicapped and even though it’s not a real big dining room we were able to navigate it just fine.

So good! People drench their seafood with extra seasoning. You do NOT need that here. Juicy and flavorful. I was definitely satisfied with the quality of the seafood and the service. Excellent!
OMG--how have I been passing by this place every day and not stopped sooner! Hands down best seafood I've had in a very long time! I ordered the fried shrimp and crawfish tails combo! Delicious!

Already missing the old crew. This place has new owners but the food is still fantastic!!! I had a bad vibe during my first visit back when I was greeted by a man at the front counter. I asked him how are you, and his response was, do I really care? Wow, ouch!! Only to find that was the new owner lol what a bad first impression.. nevertheless, I still will show up to get some crawfish, bcz I'm too lazy to drive all the way to Carrollton, again me , blindly supporting businesses ...for the love of crawfish only ...ok bye!!

This seafood restaurant has some amazing fried catfish, pasta salad, coleslaw , garden salads and Cajun fries etc. The food is hot, fresh and delicious with a rich taste , just right for me. The customer service was excellent, the gentleman who waited on me prepared and packaged my order well. Please stop by and order if you like seafood! The food was so delicious and the gentleman explained the style of seafood choices and side dishes that I will always remember this is one of the best restaurants in Texas that serves and sell my favorite fried catfish now!

I would have driven to another location had I not already paid for my food and known how long it would take to get my food. I eat at the one in Denton frequently and it is great. This location not so much. Waited over an hour to get food. The server and the cook kept yelling and cussing at each other. Soda machine was broken. They give you a tiny cup for water. Customers were just leaving because of the wait just to order. No heads up on the wait. Food was okay. Not what I'm use to at the Denton location. My order didn't come out correctly. Asked for grilled and got fried. I didn't say any thing because it probably would have been another hour or so before it was corrected.It was freezing cold in the place even for my liking, and I had a jacket on. I certainly will not return to this location. Ever.
