Everyone walked around and stood in the kitchen eating while we waited to be seated. 4 employees looked up and never even spoke or said hello. Walked out and will not be back. No wonder there was only 4 people there at 715 pm.

We already like to come to the Cotton Patch as the food is pretty good. However, we decided to be adventurous and go on a Saturday night for their steak special. This isn't a steak house, so we weren't expecting much. However, lately, most of the steakhouses aren't much to brag about either. We found out this is one of Longview's best kept secrets! The steak was tender and flavorful. The salad was as pretty as it was tasty, and the baked potatoe was perfect! I haven't had such a good baked potatoe in years! Much better than what we've been getting at the local steakhouses. Service was great! (We had Lucas as our server) It was quicker, and quieter than going to any of the steakhouses around here. It all was so good that we tried the butter cake desert. It was good, but I think we will try the peach cobbler next time. My husband asked me if this was going to be our new Saturday night thing as we enjoyed it so much. I think it just might! Excuse the photos, I got my half of the potatoe and cut the onions up before I took the pictures.Parking: There's parking in the front as well as in the back. My husband likes to park in the front as it's closer to the door, while I park in the back. I do this as it's less crowded with a lesser chance of getting a ding on my door from others. It's not that much of a walk to the front door.

First, our waiter Lucas was amazing. He did a fabulous job. Second, the food not so much. The deep fried bacon was raw. I'm pretty sure the bacon should be fully cooked before you batter it and deep fry it. Thired, the side of gravy I got was like 2 teaspoons. The pork chops I ordered were ummm I'm not sure what they were. The sweet tea was terrible. Tasted burned or something. The fried mushrooms you could literally watch the grease drip off of them. We are in town for a wedding and will not be coming back to Cotton Patch in Longview.

We eat at this CP often and our visits are always good. Last night our server suggested the roast turkey and dressing and it was added to our list of favorites. Crystal, the server was top notch as she took very good care of all our needs. Yes, we will be back. Oh, my wife got her usual, chicken fried chicken and loved it'Parking: Large parking lots on both sides of the restaurant.
