The cook I think his name was Simon, paid for our meal. We were the last customers before they closed. The girl that waited the tables that night seemed more interested in visiting with her friends and family and it was hard to get her attention as we almost felt rude doing so. I don't wanna pay to eat somewhere that I feel rude asking the waitress to do her job. Thanks to the cook I didn't have to that night. She should thank him because if it weren't for him she would have cost this place a customer ?
One does not go to waffle house for the five star rating. One does go to waffle house for a decent meal, however, don’t go at shift change because nobody will wait on you until they are done changing the shift. Then when you get your food it will be cold. The restaurant is so cold you can’t stand it and your hot food will be cold because of it.It took 15 minutes to even get a glass of tea because they were too busy changing shifts. The off going chef was very rude to customers telling them that they don’t have time to wait on customers that they have to clean the syrup containers and refill salt and “you’re just gonna have to wait until somebody else comes in to wait on you”
If you could find anything wrong with the food, the service would make up for it. Went to get breakfast on Thanksgiving morning and everyone working was in a great mood. A great way to start my day.Food: 4/5
My family and I love Waffle House. Never have to wait as long as IHOP and the food is always fresh. Great staff.Food: 5/5
The staff were friendly and helpful; though it took awhile before anyone asked if I had been waited on me. Once my order had been received it wasn't long before it was ready.Food: 5/5
I had plans on dining in but they gave me dirty silverware with grits caked on it so I ended up asking for my food to go. Food was great I just hate I got dirty silverware
While it was busy and there was a small wait, once we ordered the food came fast and hot. The hash browns could have been more crispy but it didn’t stop us from eating them. Our waitress, Coleen, was very nice and kept a smile on her face.
Showed up at 10:55 here it is 11:38 still listed as open. Not the case at all! They are closed way too early for waffle house. I work late and usually eat here often. Do better
I love that the food doesn't change. The service is almost always the same and even though the prices have gone up some they are still reasonable.
If y'all have never been to a Waffle House you are definitely missing out. Love the old school greasy spoone Diner vibes. Best seat in the house is at the counter so you can watch the cooks work their magic. As for the food it's great American comfort food. We ordered the patty melt bowl with hash browns and onions. Steak with eggs, the eggs were cooked perfectly Sunny Side up. and a cheeseburger with hash browns. All the food was amazing and served fresh. It was cool watching them cook our food right in front of us.Our waiter John Paul was amazing and gave us everything we needed accordingly. They made one small mistake and he corrected it immediately and didn't even charge us for it so that was a plus in my book.
Great customer service at this location always ready to serve with a friendly face Teresa is the best always go with her
First of all I grew up where the first couple of waffle houses were Peachtree Corners Georgia so the ones I grew up around always had to be Tip Top I guess that's cuz the bosses were around but anywho six seven bucks you can go in there and get so full it hurt and it was always a good atmosphere nice and cold in there the food was great plenty of condiments always a full glass of tea but now to go somewhere and eat breakfast food for 15 to 20 dollars is almost a luxury and I hate to say that because Waffle House is one of my favorite places to eat literally back in my younger days I might eat there five to ten times a week because it was close convenient and cheap I am good anywho but the waitress in the cook were talking and ramble on with the customers the whole time the hash browns were so crispy I could hardly chew them the waffle was over overdone I live in Texas now but I used to play a little game with the waitresses I tell them if you can give me the address on the bottom of the menu I would give them extra $5 on a tip nobody was ever able to do that in the 20 years that I did it really hurts me to give a bad review because I love the place I hope things get better
Very cozy and great place for breakfast with the family!
Haven't been to Waffle House in years and decided to stop here on a road trip in town. JP was our server and that man is absolutely amazing. Our drinks never stayed empty, our food was served warm & everyone was happy. There was one mixed up with an order and it was immediately corrected by JP and the best part was they didn't even charge us for it. I understand mistakes happen and the staff at Waffle House fixed it immediately. That type of customer service you don't find hardly anywhere nowadays. Ordered a steak and eggs and it was cooked absolutely perfect the eggs were Sunny Side Up and perfectly runny. Also ordered a cheeseburger and that was served perfect as well. I guess it was supposedly amazing because picky child ate it within 5 Seconds lol she completely cleaned her plate and left not a crime to be found. We also had a order of the patty melt bowl which consisted of crispy hash browns mixed with onions topped with hamburger patty & sliced cheese. This was super yummy and very fulfilling. Throw some Tabasco sauce on it and it was absolutely the perfect breakfast. Waffle House is your typical old school American diner type restaurant. If you're watching calories this is definitely not a restaurant for you but if you want some good hearty food and a little bit of nostalgia then this is the perfect restaurant for you.
