We bought the cookies and cream, velvet, chocolate and champagne flavors. All of the cupcakes were under average. Velvet is so bad we threw them away. Find another place, it was a disappointment since we bought them for my son's birthday.
Most delicious cupcakes I've ever had!!! Came in a few minutes after opening one day and they gave me a free lemon cupcake for being one of the first 30 customers. The cupcakes are fluffy and light and the icing is soft, it's really just the perfect combo. The strawberry is my favorite so far, haven't tried all the flavors yet but I will now that I know about this place!! Check their menu ahead of time as flavors vary by day.

I no longer live in the Lubbock area but felt it necessary to leave this review. First of all, I have eaten cupcakes in Houston, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada, and all over Florida; Cake has the best cupcakes I have eaten, my husband and daughter also agree to this. The cake part is so light/soft, not dense or too sweet. The icing/buttercream is so velvety and again not too sweet. This woman is a true artist and knows her cupcakes. I feel blessed to have tried her baking. I know this sounds drastic but it is so.

I drove by Monday (without checking website), they are closed Monday's. The reviews I read said how great they were so I went back Tuesday. Boy am I happy I did. This place is great. I had the signature chocolate. I wasn't a fan of the molten center, but it tasted great. If your a chocolate fan you'll like it. (I tried eating it without a fork, not smart) I also bought a cake in a cup, bridal. It is by far my favorite!! The vanilla buttercream is amazing. It was worth the wait. If you are anywhere in Lubbock and are craving cupcakes you have to try this place! Just remember they are closed Sunday and Monday.
