I personally had a horrible experience here at this restaurant. When I walked in I didn’t see any authenticity but I still gave it a chance because who am I to say who knows a thing or two about Mexican food. I was seated just fine but the problem started with the waitress I’m not sure of her name but she happened to be the only blonde waitress there and that’s the only thing I remember about her everyone else had brunette hair. She appeared to be friendly only to which I discovered was a front to her biased and discriminatory ways! We ordered the special which was $1 tacos (5), wings and a quesadilla… people that were seated after us got there food first which all happened to be of Caucasian decent and were in the same waitress’s section. We waited close to two hours for our food and when it arrived my tacos were ice cold which I have NEVER experienced before. I believe she let or food sit out before bringing it to us. Not only were they cold but there was no seasoning in the chicken and my corn tortillas were raw. The restaurant was not busy so I do not understand why I was treated this way. My only conclusion is that I happened to get a waitress who was racist. I’m sad to say I will never be taking my family here again. I will gladly pay for full priced tacos some where else. I’m not here to argue but to simply state my experience. Oh and a small queso was $8 which I’ve also never seen before.

Staff are kind and respectful, Izzy is a pleasure to be around! The food is good and the drinks are better, more relaxed than the college bars, similar to a hole in the wall bar which are my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place for people in their 30s that don't want to deal with the college crowds.

Love Vanessa, Jody, and Harley at the bar. Really sucks the manager Jessie treated their karaoke host Roger so badly. We went every Wednesday night for many years. We won't be back until Roger is back.
I live way to far for this restaurant to be getting orders wrong they have good food but damn if a person say they don't want items on their food it's for a reason. And then I didn't get my salsa or silverware damn just do better this is the one on 34th st the other one is all wonderful but I thought I'll give this one a try,and got disappointed. First pic was suppose to be no lettuce and no tomatoes and look what they killed it with. Second pic correct.

Great food great service, lots of options. They have a separate bar from the restaurant. Reasonable pricing and they serve breakfast as well. I would recommend to anyone!!!!!
