This is by far one of the worst places to eat on campus. The food is almost always cold and you can expect to be waiting for upwards of 40 minutes if you order Grubhub. Most of the restaurants are usually closed or only open for Grubhub so ordering there is just about your only option. If you forget to pick up an order they will threaten to deactivate your Grubhub account which effectively cuts you off from using RaiderCard and getting food any time after 4:30 PM.

Logistically, this is one of the better places to start on campus. Centrally located with amenities. Texas Tech in general, is a welcoming environment. I noticed enough security features at Stangle Hall, that I can describe is as being on par with a hotel. The rooms themselves are on par with other campuses, and being an older building the are community bathrooms. It is fine for starting a new adventure in life.

Top notch dorm, w amazingly good food options.

I once failed my calculus test and I made myself eat the grilled chicken sandwich 5 days in a row as a punishment. To this day I can't eat a grilled chicken sandwich. As a senior I sometimes walk through the market for nostalgia purposes but quickly get a bad feeling in my tummy. If I close my eyes, I can still smell the market and Stangel Murdough complex. 2 stars.

It is pretty average overall, though the quality of the food is pretty hit or miss unless you eat at Fuzzolis's or the carvery. If you are getting breakfast pretty much the only good thing is the omelettes since those are hard to mess up, the pancakes are crap though, plus they try and skimp pit on how many pancakes they are supposed to give you. Actually they do that a lot, so check your food before you sit down to eat because there have been a lot of times where they switched my order with someone else's or have completely forgotten to put something in. The one consistently good place in the Market is the carvery, the fried chicken is really great and the gumbo, meatloaf and peach cobbler are pretty good too. Fuzzoli's is okay though they never close the to-go containers correctly so check that unless you want all your food to spill out.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The wait is ridiculous. Waited 30 minutes to get food and ended up late to class. Food is decent and the service is ok.

Within the past 4 years this place has gone to the ruins. The former interactions with cashiers have been replaces by computer ordering systems. Food portions have halved in size, proportional to their seasoning dose. Food was as cold as the hospitality, room temperature at best. The only constant factor was the prices. 2 stars were given because the food was edible and delivered rather quickly.
My daughter is community Advisor in Stangel. The university does a good job of securing the premises for safety. The living quarters are a little dated but sufficient for most College students living and learning
Nice digs while my kid is getting an education
Somewhat easier to find than a lot of campuses
