Love the salmon salad here. It's my go-to for a healthy lunch out. One picture includes a glimpse of the soup.

Great food! I tried the chicken quesadilla and the grilled cheese!! I was surprised at how inexpensive it was as well!

Great healthy options especially if you have a food allergy that limits you to “normal” food choices! Will definitely be back! Great friendly staff as well.

Back .... second time in a week. Jalapeño soup was good... back for more cold brew and bone broth ... this place rocks! Really good carrot cake.

I have to say this is my favorite restaurant in Lubbock! The food is always SO GOOD. It is always consistent. It's a great place to go for a variety of good food that is good for you too. I will always recommend watering well as long as they keep everything the way it is now!

I eat here every time I am in Lubbock. Great food choices along with gluten free options!!! Sandwiches, salads and desserts...you can't go wrong!!

The pulled pork on cornbread panini - oh my! Pure goodness. Good southwest salad but go light on the BBQ sauce dressing. Little bite brownie delish. Pass on the funky flavored ice teas. Love the carbonated water feature. Service a little slow at peak times.

I used to love this place, especially because they had all the gluten free options at no additional cost. They've now gone up and their prices and lessened quality of the dining experience. Instead of plates, they now use baskets with a sheet of paper. My son's grilled chicken meal was soaking through the paper and the fruit was served on the same sheet of paper, making the fruit taste like chicken broth. I think it's overpriced for what you actually get.

Ordered a Salmon salad shortly after opening.. lack inventory control. When something is substituted... I'm surprised the price is the same. Chicken for salmon is not the same price point. Inconsistent each time I have gone... Makes me wonder about the catering as well.

After recently learning I am allergic to wheat I was introduced to dining hell. I had never dreamed I would be one of "those" people, you know the insufferable gluten free crowd? Yet, here I am, literally in tears and starving (not a good place to be if you are an endurance athlete) and having learned that even my beloved Rosa's corn chips have wheat I was resorted to doing a 'gluten free' dining search on Yelp. Yelp directed us to The Watering Weall Eatery and boy, are we ever glad for it. We walked in and thank goodness it was at mid afternoon lull, as we were kinda gob smacked with the choices. The girl behind the counter asked us if it was our first time there. She then explained to us about the options, how everything was in house made and fresh, etc. I told her about the wheat allergy and she told me that anything they had could be made gluten free. I opted for the cranberry almond chicken salad and had it put over salad greens rather than the GF bread or wrap. It was incredibly good and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cranberries were fresh, not the dried kind. And that raises a chicken cranberry concoction to a much higher level of goodness. My husband got the hand pulled BBQ pork and loved it. It looked gorgeous and done panini style. It was a bit messy with sauce and he eventually just ate the inside as it was a huge portion and he didn't want to fill up on the bread. We definitely will be back! The place is clean and pleasant. The ceiling water feature adds a serene touch as does the digital forest brook scene.

In town for medical appointments, and decided to stop at a new-to-me restaurant, and it did not disappoint! Lots of interesting things to choose from, I had CHICKEN POBLANO soup Full side salad of Cranberry Almond Arugula Salad NOT YOUR ORDINARY GRILLED CHEESE

Cute posh spot off of Milwaukee. The ambiance and healthy menu selection was lovely. My only qualm with this place is the price. A bit over priced for the amount of food received. The food was fresh and aesthetically pleasing. Cute place for something light and for those on a diet.

Love the vegan BLT, just have to modify the original. They also have the best house vinaigrette I think I've ever had and I'd buy their sweetened cranberries(not dried) in bulk if I could.

What a gem in Lubbock! I was excited to hear about this place and visit this weekend while I was in town visiting family. We had a larger group and went on Sunday after church and surprisingly had no problem getting a table. There were so many things on the menu that looked great to me, but I opted for the chicken salad sandwich with side salad which was an excellent choice. I also tried my mom's kale salad which was phenomenal. Other people at our table enjoyed the fish tacos, pulled BBQ sandwich, and grilled cheese. Very happy to have discovered this place and will make a point to go every time I'm in Lubbock!

I have Celiac and don't eat out much for fear of cross contamination. We were in town for the day and The Watering Well came highly recommended to me. I had a great experience here and will definitely be back! I had the Turkey Avocado Sandwich on homemade gluten free bread - it was AMAZING! I can't say enough about the food and service - both were fantastic and SO accommodating! I hope to see the owner expand to Amarillo, TX soon!!!
