Overall an excellent experience. Service was very good, not rushed but never kept us waiting. Each food item was delicious. This is one of the few places out here in Lubbock where everything was cooked perfectly. My rare steak was actually cooked rare, our guests had pork chops that were beautifully juicy, and the quail appetizer was flavorful and crisp. Even the vegetables were flavorful and tender. Highly recommend and we will defintiely return. Reservations recommended.

I really enjoy this establishment. Perfect for a nice night out with friends or an anniversary dinner. On this most recent visit in February of 2024 we had a fantastic meal (ribeye and the short rib, amazing) and a lovely service by our server Reilly. Wonderfully welcoming and consciously considerate of her guests!! I enjoy the seasonal creativity of the dishes and can’t wait to come back.

Not only was the server and water boy very attentive, but their bartender personally handed the handcrafted drinks to our table. The food was delectable, if your a local or someone from out of town, you should definitely think of this restaurant as your dinner date. Just don't forget to make a reservation!

The food is hit or miss at the West Table. When it's good, it's great, when it's mediocre, it is a miss. I've experienced both here. My last dining experience was a miss. The food just didn't quite all make sense, too much brine on the pork, bistro steak was very fatty. Having stated this, I don't mind a miss in food sometimes. That is understandable. What I was upset with is the fact that we were rushed to finish dining before we wanted to. They didn't throw us out the door mind you, they just very subtly and persistently made it known they needed the table. We had made reservations. In summary, last experience was sub par food and rushed service. I may not give them another chance solely due to the feeling of being rushed.

The steak here is unbelievably delicious! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service is spot on and friendly. I had a #9 from the bar that was also delicious. Highly recommend The West Table.

Literally 9.999/10 I just wish there were more croquettes on the appetizer because they were to DIE for! I recommend the Vietnamese Style TenderloinWheelchair accessibility: Chairs are movable to allow for better mobility access.

Very nice restaurant. Second time we've been there but not too happy how they handle issues. Food took a very long time, including appetizer and dinner course. No worries though because it's parents weekend. Only thing that peeved me is my chicken was raw. To the point there was blood on the plate. They comped my dinner which I was fine with, but someone came over to argue about how they temp the chicken and it was cooked properly. Come on! Anyone knows that there are multiple access points. If chef only checked the skinnest part of the chicken then they might not know the thickest part of the chicken isn't cooked all the way through. Again, not ready for the back and forth about it.

My partner got super sick after eating the lamb. When he told his sister about it she immediately guessed that it was the lamb because a friend had a similar experience. I didn't have the lamb so I didn't get sick I guess. My food was okay, but it didn't taste like anything out of the ordinary. I feel like I could have gotten something similar at Lazy Dog and I wouldn't have paid as much. But that's just my opinion. The service was great. Our waitress was very kind and made sure to update us on the status of our food without us even having to ask. But what I absolutely hated about this place was the occustics. It was impossible to have a conversation. This may be due to the fact the the restaurant was a little crowded, or that they were playing music over all the talking. All these things are to be expected at a restaurant. But what I think the real issue is the size of the restaurant. It's a relatively small space. Tables were significantly close to one another, and I imagine that all the noise was bouncing off the concrete pillars scattered around. But I'm not sure if anything can be done about any of that. Over all the place was ok. Not Okay! Just ok. It wasn't really worth the price. I wouldn't recommend going there for a first date, or expecting to have a meaningful conversation with your friends. If you want to try it out I recommend going when it's not too busy, and STEER CLEAR OF THE LAMB. While there's a lot of things I would change, I believe this place has potential, or maybe I'm just a grouchy person. Figure it out for yourself if you don't believe me.

Im honestly beside myself…. I don’t know how anyone could give less than 5 stars. Food is incredible - elegant but simple, something other restaurants seem to miss in this area (complex does not always equal good/elegant/fine). Had the goat cheese croquettes, Caesar, and roasted chicken (potato salad could use a little less stone ground, my only gripe). The service is very attentive and enthusiastic. Prices are very fair for ACTUALLY GOOD FOOD. Cmon people pay them what they’re worth. The beer is fantastic - had the hazy and… exquisite. I I was in Lubbock for 3 days for work so I did get to try a few places; this place will be my go-to for actually good food that doesn’t feel overpriced. Really really well done, West Table. You have a very appreciative customer who will be returning whenever I get the chance.

With rare exception have I felt more at home and treated as family in a restaurant as I have when I had the privilege of dining at the West Table in Lubbock. The staff were helpful, friendly, and approachable. Waitress was knowledgeable to the extent of her training and willing to ask for help. Menu was great... Apparently changes all the time. Wanted one of everything. Oyster on the half shell were decadent, fresh, and well appointed, no need for crackers folks. I had a ribeye, ordered medium rare and served same. Good cut. Well seasoned. Chimmichuri on the potatoes was heavy, but otherwise a great meal, nice spot, will be back.
