Cha Cha’s Mexican Restaurant has been a special part of my life for as long as I can remember and is truly a Mansfield gem! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and at 17, I was lucky enough to start working here—first as a hostess, then as a waitress. The atmosphere has always been warm, welcoming, and truly family-based. It's more than just a restaurant—it's a community.
I’ve noticed some low-star reviews recently, and frankly, they seem to come from people who are bored or looking for something to complain about. So I wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible work that actually goes into running a business and making this place run every single day.
Freddie Trevino, the manager, and his hardworking staff are the heart of this restaurant. No matter the time of day or how many hours they’ve worked, the entire team consistently delivers delicious, authentic Tex-Mex food with care and pride. It's a family-owned business that’s been through its share of hardships—including the heartbreaking loss of their main cook to cancer years ago. Yet, the team continues to honor his legacy by keeping the flavors and heart of Cha Cha’s alive.
No restaurant is perfect, but the memories I’ve made here—since I was 9 years old, through my teenage working years, and still today—are unforgettable! The food, the people, and the energy are a true reflection of the Trevino family and their deep connection to this town.
Thank you to Freddie and the amazing kitchen and waitstaff for keeping Cha Cha’s going strong all these years. Mansfield wouldn’t be the same without you!!

Chicken is moist & flavorful. Shredded beef was a bit “chewy”. Salsa had the right amount of “zing”. Refried beans tasted very authentic. Chips were served warm with a touch of salt. BUT….the queso? It tasted like it was the cheap canned stuff. Waitress was quick, attentive, & friendly. Restaurant was very clean. And the floral display out front was a gardeners delight!!
Great place and the food was delicious! If you're ever in the Mansfield area I would give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed.

Came here cause I heard the quesabirrias were good but they're the most insipid quesabirrias I've ever had and to make it worse the portion they give you seems like a joke when you see the plate. This is a half portion ($13) but even so, I believe 1 taco and a half is not enough and it doesn't even come with rice or beans.
