I really like the new artwork paintings outside. The picnic tables are a nice touch. The vegan tacos tasted so good, I thought they were meat. Favorite reason to go is the artist bazaar during some concerts. Favorite band - HeavyHugs. Connect on facebook to get updates on upcoming concerts.
Good place to chill, drink and listen to bands play music. The owner is very sweet.
Nice place to vibe and hang out with friends. They hold lots of events with local and more well known bands which are really good.
The best place for a local band to play, i saw the stage and the outside artwork on the wall near parking area.
Enjoy the Music and Entertainment that usually Held here at Yerberia. Everyone is always Friendly
People are great. Great atmosphere
One of the many bars in McAllen’s Entertainment District. This place invites local artist from speak easy, open mic nights, art shows, and local musicians. Overall great place!
Great place to listen to some live music while drinking some cool drinks! Highly recommend!
NICE PLACE TO RELAX AND LISTEN TO MUSIC
Really cool place this one!
Super chill environment, all the shows and events that they put on are always fun regardless if it's a big show or a small show or even an art show. They have $2 beers (while supplies last) which is cool because most bars/venues charge more for their cheapest beer. Theyre not really on top of their restrooms though. Could use some sweeping and soap dispensers refilled. Limited parking around the venue so get there early of you don't like walking.
It's expensive here. I think the bartenders take advantage. No reason why 2 shots of well boubon & 2 Lone Stars should come out to $23. When I asked what the reason was, the guy behind the bar said that was my total & held my card until I signed and tipped. It is also very hot in the venue. Not very comfortable at all.
Great local bands and craft beers, bring your friends!
Nice place to hang out with friends.
Great place to listen new bands. La pulguita nocturna is a nice event
Just visited my 2 time , great fun , I love hearing bands from the valley . Drinks fairly priced , the bar feels very Friendly , overall great place to hang with friends to share a drink and listen to music.
If you like to dance with zero judgement from people around you, this is the place to go! I had so much fun here and the music was live and lively!! Love this place and will go back regularly.
Great place to hand up
Great little spot to enjoy live music local events. Parking can be a little weird sometimes but I've never really had to much of a problem myself. The outside is in need of some tlc just so it can seem like more of an actual venue but the inside has a great atmosphere to it.
FANTASTIC MUSIC, VIBE, AND COMPANY! Loved being able to meet local artists pursuing their passions! Definitely an incubator for those growing their talents and chasing their dreams!
Very accepting and inclusive. Anyone with an open minded may enjoy this place. Open to any kind of audience.
It's a very nice place works are always hard at work 10 out 10 for me
Great live music venue! Two stages for shows outside and inside. A completely unique and welcoming space! All ages shows are a plus.
I've had a great experience catching live music here. Very cool place that promotes/supports local bands. The atmosphere is always positive. They have 2 sections, one for a more intimate setting (indoor), and another with the main stage (outdoor). There is a bar there (one indoor and one outdoor). Parking would be the only downside. There is a nice parking lot near the venue but the city took over and has someone standing there all night charging but nobody parks there. So you'll need to park on the side of streets around the neighborhood which isn't that bad, just a little walk depending on what you find at the time you arrive.
Super underground place, cool music, open mics nights are the best
Good place to hang out and relax
This place has some of the coolest things happening. They bring bands from Mexico, Japan, Mexico and they really try and support every music scene. I've had a lot of fun watching the musicians do their thing and they have a decent selection of beer as well. All in all I come every time a band comes from out of state to support them and I'm never disappointed.
Greatest place on the planet! No joke.
Awesome place to hang out! Supportive of local artists and events.
Great vibes for those not into the club scene and prefer chill people with live music. Being from chicago, this place definitely fits a windy city vibe.
The bands that played that night could have sounded great. My guess is that the owner /manager was too cheap to hire a proper mixing person. It constantly sounded that levels were off. Sometimes it was the singer you couldn't hear, sometimes the guitar. It honestly felt like the venue hurt the performers more than help them. If the point was to showcase their talent, the lack of care to the actual sound was ironically detrimental to their career.
I had a Awesome time! Great local and touring bands, a bartender that really know his craft, and a casual low key artsy feel! Good times are going to happen here! Also damn good veggie or meat tacos on sale from a local chef on concert nights!
Fun place to hang out with Friends. Good drinks fairly priced. Safe space for all walks of life. They always bring in good bands and just have fun events. I enjoyed going to Green Drinks here. The atmosphere is pretty cool
I'm not one to complain when it comes to things, I always tend to forgive and forget but this instance stayed with me. I saw Deerhunter last night with my gf and the show was great, no complaints there. However, when I went to will call for my tickets the guy at the front (was wearing a yellow shirt and glasses) started to poke fun at my last name. I mean, I get it, I have a unique last name and it's easy to poke fun at it, but when I'm a customer of your place, I'd expect at least a semi professional courtesy from your establishment.
Indoor and outdoor area. Good prices on drinks. LGBT friendly. Always has great events.
skaggs release their first emp
One of our favorite bands Sick/Sea was performing last night so we decided to come to the show! We are in town from Austin and was pleasantly surprised with everything this bar had to offer, we had a wonderful time! My fiancé and I both had several drinks and still left spending under $35 with tip, it was a great deal! One tip I would give is to go to the bar inside to order drinks. Both bartenders were great, but the line outside got a little crazy and tons of people were just hovering and taking up space. Went inside to get another margarita and I got it immediately. For being a pretty big show the bathrooms were very clean and the space was big enough to accommodate a large crowd without feeling overwhelmed. Overall we had an excellent time and I can't wait to come back the next time we're in town! Who knew there was such a cool little bar downtown, I highly recommend them!
