Traveling thru Mineral Wells at just about 11:00 & decided to have an early lunch at Brazos Market & Bistro (mainly due to the many positive reviews). We were their first customers and were warmly greeted as we entered; so friendly staff . I ordered the BLT but subbed the dark wheat bread instead of the sour dough. Love the mercantile, restaurant combination and feel. There is outside and inside dining. Staff is extremely friendly and the food never disappoints! Even really good selections for vegetarians. A must stop for dinner or lunch when in Mineral Wells.Vegetarian options: There are several selections of good food that is not limited to just salads.Kid-friendliness: When dining outside there are picnic tables, bench swings, and a pipe/ball maze that children can enjoy.

My family stopped here for lunch after a trip to the fossil park. Felt like having a meal at a good friend’s home! Sandwiches and salad were delicious and fresh and the staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will be back!
