Black Gold is a great segway for young college aged Kids to first hand experience Odessa Night Club/Bar scene. But also has its regulars and small cliques will venture the venue some, if not all, weekends. Mix of Latino and Hip-Hop & Country music. No billiard tables, but decent sized dance floor for attendees. Security is tight but not UPtight. Good atmosphere from Waitresses and Bar staff; super fast, efficient, and consistent with customers and the late-night crowd.
Small, gets packed early and kind of hard to get beers. The bartenders do as good as they can with the amount of people. I always have a great time and the atmosphere is right up my alley.

Bartenders that pay attention. Gets busy at times. Have had two closing nights, but never have they let me down. Tip em good. Treat people there like you should. Stay warm in the winter weather and if you ask they have pizza….
