First time ever doing Korean bbq. Wanted to do it for years but was a bit intimidated. First you walk in and it’s clean and spacious. I love space and hate being cramped with a Bunch of people I don’t know. Seated immediately on a Wednesday evening. Our server was named LEON I believe, and he was outstanding and patient. He kindly walked us through everything told us the names of things we didn’t know. He ran so much for us and we greatly appreciate it. We almost tried the place across the highway but so glad we went here instead. We did AYCE x3 my family got a bunch of drinks which are canned and cost $2 per drink. I got a mixed drink that are half priced certain nights. Of the week. The kimchi broth was my favorite in the hot pot. There a buffet style bar for the hot pot and a salad bar.

This is the second location of the original WooMeeOk in Dallas(Garland is literally right there across the street)
On Walnut rd.
Except at this location you get your own sides and veggies. It’s is a way bigger establishment than the original.
You have to ask them for more rice and meats!
Everything else is in the food line
Staff is very nice
On holidays MAKE A RESERVATION!
This is a popular spot with AMAZING FOOD!
I recommend the bulgogi beef!

Great experience here. Waiting staff was very friendly. Kept on top of the meat when it ran low. The meats were tasty and the hot pot was hot; but had great flavor. Will be returning

First time experience here, and upon entering, the establishment was clean and very welcoming. We were seated immediately during lunch hours, and you can choose from a hot pot or grill me and my significant other chose to do the BBQ girl option we did short rib, shrimp and chicken and then you can also make your own sauces. I wish there were more options for the sauces that’s about the only thing -I like how they come and change out the grill once your grill starts to get smoky -they are very attentive very nice music. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

We had never tried a Korean bbq WITH hotpot before. Hotpot-yes. KBBQ-yes. Add them together and you get the greatness of WooMeeOk!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to park and access with wheelchair. Most seating is booth seats but they will move things around for you.

Woomeok Korean BBQ & Hotpot surpasses Seapot in nearly every way, offering a more authentic and elevated dining experience. While Seapot's conveyor belt concept can feel impersonal and rushed, Woomeok provides attentive, personalized service—especially from staff like Bawi, who ensured every detail of the meal was perfect. The quality of meats and fresh ingredients at Woomeok is noticeably superior, with better marinades and more flavorful broths. Additionally, the atmosphere at Woomeok is more welcoming and less chaotic, creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting that truly enhances the experience. If you’re looking for quality over novelty, Woomeok is the clear winner.

Try them! The menu isn’t huge like some places but the value is here and they have all the favorites anyways. Service was the best we’ve experienced in a long time in DFW. We will be coming back.

Overpriced gratuity! Charged 32$! For 6 people! Didn’t bring out our drinks! Practically begging for our food to come out!

I just want to share my experience of this place. It’s juts an ordinary restaurant.the fact of cooking your own food it’s not really nice it’s too much smoke inside the restaurant also the bathroom are dirty.and then they don’t tell you the policy for the tips they change too much we are obliged to pay either if you want or not.over $40 dollars for 3 people. It’s insane
