DEFINITELY A WELCOME TO TEXAS CUISINEI've just moved across the country to Dallas, and have had some great restaurant experiences so far. Haywire was one that I saw reading "Texas hospitality" in the description so this Virginia-boy had to find out what Texas offers. For starters, this place was two things: 1) a huge restaurant & 2) packed with large groupsI ordered my drink - a Sazerac of course - and it was spot on. To eat, I ordered the Mini Elk Tacos & a bowl of the Venison Chili. The tacos were delicious and seasoned well. The Chili was sweet with a little bit of spice (a 3/10 on a spiciness scale). It was filled with plenty of meat.In regards to customer service, they did very well. My server, Bri, was kind & attentive. The host & hostesses were welcoming and kind as well.

Our servers were great and the food was delicious! Even though it was prom night and things were chaotic, everything came out on time and everyone was very friendly.

I am really disappointed, they served meVegetarian Food with cross contamination. I was told by their server today after being here severalTimes that they use same oil to cook non vegetarian food and vegetarian food in the sameOil. How disgusting and disrespectful it is.They LIED ? on their menu adding V( vegetarian) in front of the items on their menu , which basically are not vegetarian. This is breaking TEXAS LAW .

If you've never been, go, run, fast! Great vibe! Reservations recommended, but the bar Always has a seat. Meat and cheese board very good. Great bartender. We've gone for dinner, and then apps and drinks only. Will return.

4 of us went for dinner. We were stuck on patio with plastic to keep weather out. It was very warm. My pork chop was great. The chicken fried stake was also good. Looked like they were short on servers. Really good food but just took long time for meal to

We agreed to change tables to allow a larger party to sit (we had 5, they had 6). It really wasn't a big deal but the manager went out of their way to thank us several times. Honestly they didn't need to do that but it does speak to their customer service.

We just had the Easter brunch buffet here. Everything was great. Buffets can be kind of iffy but this one was magnificent. There are many choices from salads, breakfast items, lunch items, plus desserts. Everything we tried was perfect. The service was great as well. We will be going back. But I must warn you. The next time we are taking our grandson. So there may not be any food left when he is done.

Try the Chipolte Meatloaf- it was in Bon Appétit magazine and has a great spice and smoky flavor.
