Super slow service, most stuffs are wayyyy over priced even with 50% off. Better go to Amazon or any online store. Their pricing is so bad feel like I just got ripped off. Not going back here. Micheals probably would be my next choice locally.

I recently bought a bunch of markers and specifically asked if I could exchange them if I already had any of the shades at home. The girl at the register said yes. I came back an hour late to exchange the 3 I already had and exchange them for 3 I did need and then was told I couldn't return or exchange them. I like to support my local businesses but I will not be shopping here again. They should have honored what they told me. They are always out of stock in the pads I need. I will be purchasing online from stores with better policies and integrity from now on. Very disappointing. I usually spend hundreds of dollars when I shop there. Really short sighted to lose a good customer for 3 markers.

This place is such a treasure for game lovers in the DFW area. It’s a chill gathering place where you can play games and enjoy great food and beverage. They literally have the best sandwiches! They also serve a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and soft drinks. 5 stars!

Great little store. Good prices and they have dang near everything you need. The student discount is a plus as well. A big step up from Hobby Lobby and Michaels I'm terms of selection and prices. Less arts and crafts and more fine art materials like paints, pens, sketchbooks, pencils, brushes, etc.

Meh. It's ok, and it's pretty much the only real art supply store around this area. They had most of the items I was looking for, but they must have a problem with shoplifting - signs everywhere and a very strict return policy (10 days w receipt). They were also out of certain sizes/options of a large number of items (so they would have 2 out of 3 sizes) - so they don't restock quickly. I couldn't find any white ink, and one of the supplies I asked for none of the staff knew what it was. It was ok, but I might call ahead of time to see if they have what you need rather than driving all the way over.

This is the closest art supply store near me that isn't a craft/art supply store. Asel had in stock the specific watercolor brushes I wanted and the staff is always helpful. I will definitely return.

I've been shopping at Asel art since I was in high school, old location, new locations 15 years+... but I don't think I would ever come back to the Plano location ever again. The staff was very nice and helpful, but as I browse the store the manager lady call the guy close to the cashier back... 1 mins later he was keeping a distance but was literally following me aisle by aisle... it made what should have been a nice relaxing supply pickup to a annoying experience. I'm not dressed suspiciously, I shop here every month for pens and nick-nacks... it was uncalled for.
