Great food, no doubt!!! It's a bit pricy, so bring plenty of cash if you're hungry. Very small place. Nothing fancy at all very simple. Full bar. This place is on the Main Street in Old Town area of Plano, not much convenient parking but plenty of parking all around that is free. If you leave there hungry, you didn't order enough. They do not have a menu of entries, only meat, bread, and condiments. Good place to pick up meat and take up to build a meal around.

Finally had the chance to visit the historic Lockhart location, and it lived up to all the hype! The brisket was absolutely outstanding—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere of the place adds to the experience, capturing the authentic, rustic feel of Texas BBQ. This is a must-visit spot for any barbecue lover, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommended!

Good food, but it's kinda stressful getting in the door and ordering. Lots of people! It was fun because after eating there, I went to fourteen eighteen and the owner of Lockhart came in a little later and noticed me. He remembered and asked how the food was! They are very friendly and it is a very fun place!

Definitely some of the best barbecue in the area. I had the brisket, sausage, and brisket potato salad. Also tried the deviled eggs. Everything tasted amazing. They were a little shorthanded tonight, so bar service was a little slow, even though it wasn't crowded. But we still had a great business get together. The food is wrapped in and served on butcher paper, plasticware, and brown paper towels on the tables. It's about as downhome BBQ as you can get. I'm fairly local, but I recommend this to all of my out of town customers and friends.
Parking: Street parking is very limited but there is a free parking lot around the corner.
