This is a very good restaurant

Price is very competitive for their all you can eat lunch or dinner option. It is all you can eat but it is not a buffet. You need to order from the menu to the server and they bring items to you.

We held many special family events such as birthday parties here.

Sushi rice literally has no flavors, sauces tasted weird, even soy sauce was bland I wonder if they add water mixed into it?
Had a salmon scale in my sushi and had to spit it out.
Service was the terrible, server never came to check on us literally NEVER.
Such a waste of money. Dont waste your money here and go somewhere else, even Kroger sushi might be better than this place.
oh and I've never eaten Kroger sushi.

4.5 overall. Exceeded my expectations. I’ve been to three or four all you can eat sushi places, and this is by far the best one. Several of items are even better than most à la carte sushi restaurants here in town. Very good service and efficient. Will return and spread the word

It's pretty good, but they start to cut the sashimi slices pretty thin, so kind of disappointing... this is how you lose customers and get not so great reviews. The staff/ servers are friendly, polite, and quick on feet.

Run of the mill sushi place. A tad overpriced if you stray from the lunch specials.

No real dragon roll with mayo sauce, no uni, or monkfish.

I probably won't eat there again on my dime.

Probably one of the best AYCE sushi spots I’ve been to in the Plano area! Sushi Masa will probably be my go-to restaurant if I’m ever needing an AYCE sushi night. Came on a weeknight and it was still pretty packed, can’t imagine what it’s like on the weekends.

AYCE is about $38(?) pp, with a variety of sushi, rolls, appetizers (yakitori, sides, katsu, tempura, salads, etc) to choose from. Cool thing was each of us got a complimentary alcoholic drink for the first round which was awesome!

Favorite of the night would be yellowtail, salmon and escolar. The yellowtail was one of the best I’ve had in a while! Rolls were okay and not super spectacular - will probably skip out on that next time (I know, why did we order rolls at AYCE sushi, we were curious lol).

Sushi orders came out fast, but the rest came out a bit slow so just a heads up! Dessert also took an extra minute but wasn’t a super long wait. Will definitely be back next time!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I couldn't find any contact info for the company. I would much rather have discussed this incident with a reasonable team member. Very unfortunate experience because I loved this place. Never going back after this horrendous visit. 30 minute wait to start. Which is abnormal for 1 pm on a Tuesday, but, I get it... holiday week... got through the first round of food orders before receiving my beverage that came with the meal... short staffed, so I waited patiently, never complaining. Then, once ready to pay and leave... couldn't, because I was still waiting on my son's ice cream. 30 minutes waiting on this ice cream. When I finally couldn't wait any longer I asked for the check. The server agreed to give us the scoop of ice cream in a to-go container so my son could eat it in the car. The manager came to say, no, because it's their policy that you can't have any to go containers with AYCE. I understand that fully, but it also shouldn't take 30 minutes to get a scoop of ice cream, plus, the server had already agreed. I HAD to leave and the manager wouldn't run my card to let me pay. He kept standing in my face wanting to discuss their policy. I asked him repeatedly to run my card so I could leave. Finally, had to chase down our server to run our card so we could leave. He physically followed me and kept trying to discuss their policies. I paid, tipped my server, and walked out of the restaurant. He followed me outside continuing to ask to speak with me. He was extremely unprofessional and the worst manager I've ever encountered. Also, when he came to my table to tell me I couldn't have ice cream to go, that was the first time I had seen him in the almost 2 hours I'd been in the establishment. My poor server was trying so hard to keep up with all the tables and the fact that they were severely understaffed and he never came for a table touch or bothered to help her at all. We will never be coming back because of him.

My friend said that this place is a must try restaurant. I was surprised for a AYCE, sushi was very good and service was good as well. I would recommend you to give it a try!

The first time I had the sushi, it was good. This second time was subpar. The salmon quality was bad. There were parts that I couldn't chew.

My family(including 10months baby)went there for lunch to try them out and we were so excited. But once we get there, we saw there was a lot of space to serve and employees but they told me to wait 20-30mins. So we decided not to wait and also we felt we were not welcomed at all.

This is an AYCE sushi place. Food is mediocre, but the price is great. I have been here about a dozen times, and service is always great. Recommend!

We've gone several times. The last time , service was not as great. The server somehow questioning our orders. They also made some mistakes and took quite awhile for them to correct it.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Sushi Masa, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our server, Johnson, was truly a standout—he was polite, respectful, and checked on us frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Despite our party of four, the dishes came out quickly, all perfectly prepared. The kitchen clearly operates with great efficiency and dedication to quality.

We also had the pleasure of interacting with Matthew, the manager, who was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. His professionalism and care for the guests made our experience even more enjoyable.

All in all, a fantastic dining experience at Sushi Masa from start to finish. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend this place for anyone craving great sushi and top-notch service.
